It takes more seconds to start stoping, than if u sit at monitor and know, he will crash in that video, and u have to put foots on brake pedal, where u normaly dont have your foot, while driving, because u have it on gas, so it takes 1-2 secs :)

My dad had an accident like this with a Datsun once. Lady tried to overtake a truck failing to notice my dad was already passing the truck. He swerved aside to avoid the oncoming car, hitting a tree, shattering both his legs and leaving him trapped.

The woman stopped, came up to his car and looked inside. My dad looked her in the eye and she just walked back to her car and drove away. He had to spend 6 months with metal rods in his leg because of a stupid driver like the one in the video.

Goes to show you, even if you got the right away to pass another car, doesn;t mean every place the lines on the road are marked for allowed passing, is a good idea to pass another vehicle.

Never pass on an upcoming blind spot, blind hill or turn. People who do are do stupid and listen to their ego, when in fact no one is able to see cars coming on a blind spot, blind hill and most turns.

Firstly they were speaking about lighting icon of the ABS so they had some technical problem on the car ( later you can hear tyres screaming, so ABS is off :-) )

Before impact driver said Holy shit.

After impact they were asking each other if they are ok.

Later they were calling they colleagues that they had a heavy head.on collision. And calling for ambulance and fire brigade.

Before the end of the video they were speaking about broken collarbone but the policeman isn't sure.

The road is constructed in that way, that in case of an emergency, 3 cars enter side by side. If you look close you see that the truck driver is pulling right, so is plenty of room from the 2 cars. The policeman is also pulling right, but that stupid audi driver have a great reaction, pulling left into the police car :)). Thank god the speed was low.

Large cities are always hectic and you should see the taxis here in Stockholm - many of them drive like hell.

@harijsk Yes possibly, they had less than 2 secs to react, wet conditions, possibly greasy grass, going down the ditch at speed, may have seen them flip the car onto its roof, or due to less traction they could have kept on sliding into the trees, but still you could be right, but gladly it worked out for everyone in the end, and the guys will get a brand new patrol car, and hopefully bad driver will get a cell for a month or two.
