That really pissed me off..

Peter Pan summed up what Disney was about, in my opinion. I'm so disappointed that now Disney have changed their ways, like when they made fun of eating disorders in a TV show. Peter Pan was all about people being different, showing life through the eyes of different people, wanting to stay young and innocent forever and wanting to escape and be in a world that can be so entertaining and care free and making wishes. So what if I am 14, I watched Peter Pan the other day and it showed me what I had forgotten, how to have fun! Look most people these days, they watched Pretty Little Liars, 90210, How I met Your mother etc, but I will always and forever rather sit on the couch and just watch back to front Disney all day! It has taught me to unleash my inner child within! I am glad I have found it again because without it my life was so uniform, but with Disney, it is now so fun and free! Thank you so much! <3

We never lose our childhood, as lest on completely. I'm 17, and well we know how 17 year olds act and want. I was watching the Lion King movies, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast. When we got done with them she crawled into my lap and said my eyes were like hers. I didn't realize what she meant till later that night when she was in bed. I looked in the mirror and saw a small light shining in my eyes; a light I haven't seen in years. It was the light of childhood; it was never gone, just sleeping.

This song means so much to me, not because I've tried to grow up too fast, but because I've gone through depression. I never showed it though, only cried my eyes out when I was alone, smiling while I was losing hope in everything. This song represents my past and getting better. It was so hard, feeling trapped but never showing it because how could I make my family and friends worry about me like that? I'm not fully free, but I'm trying, opening up. One day, I WILL fly. Thank you Disney!

I'm not trying to be bossy or anything.
