  • 1:00 - 1:06 - Who else could insert the four pillars of hip hop into a rap nearly as seamlessly as k-OS? incredible, gifted man right here!

  • the thing that makes him a cut above the rest is his ability to compress so much food for thought into one amazing beat

  • @localguy905 Buy his music then idiot

  • k-os's rap music consists of sending a possitive message through lyrics, and talking about Hip-Hop cultures obbsetion with Drugs, Money, Women and Violence. BRING BACK REAL HIP-HOP!

  • Where is that "LOVE" button?!!!

  • can't describe the awesomness in words :o

  • great song

  • RAP FOR STARSEEDS

  • Any of you guys hear that anchorman k-os mix thing? Whats the story behind that?

    THATS A GOOD THING UHHH!

  • I could listen to this album constantly.

  • why cant i find this instrumental anywhere ?! </33333

    love this beat.

  • @sharv33n by your logic, i shouldn't be listening to k-os. talent is everywhere bro. you just have to look for it. keep an open mind, and let the music speak for itself.

  • "I'm spinning thoughts with anti-gravital force, shoot the monkey off my porch and pass myself the torch to light it up" A black man talking about torching porch monkeys...

  • fuck drake. he'll never be as good as k-os. and thats a promise.

  • @AcshIttable Drake is soooo bad

  • Shad and K-os are putting Canada on the map. People need to start paying attention to these guys.

  • this is what you call relevant hip hop, legitimate creative experimentation, this is just real true blue talent, no bullshit, music with substance

  • you should check out the music video to this song starring K -Os with hayden christensen appearing as K-OS's bodyguard another fellow Canadian

  • following in the footsteps of Wax Poetic, Jay Electronica, etc, by tying in film clips n quotes to album tracks...LOVE IT!!!!!

We need more artists like these to keep Underground Hip hop ALIVE!!!!

  • What movie clip did he use at the intro?

  • @cooldisks101 I'm not sure, but I think it's from Lean on Me. I only say that because I'm certain that the man's voice in the clip is a young Morgan Freeman.

  • great just great

  • this song gives me chills all i can say is holly **** amazing =O this is def going on my ipod =)

  • my class and i are in the offical music vid for this song ,we met him at the roggers center when he was makeing it and he asked for us to help.

  • music is so chill

  • much love from germany, love his sweet music

    peace

  • sickest of his since joyful rebellion

  • From the U.S. & K-OS is straight smooth. We need to be bumpin' this.

  • One of the best songs.

  • faveee.

  • Honestly for me, I am not sure if were someone comes from is so important, but K-os is just cool for the fact that he has remained true to himself as an artist. An artist's obligation is to have their audience stop, ponder and be enlightened. Its just a shame there are so little of them left

  • Canada is where the talent is at.

And if you dont agree, listen to K-OS and let his music change your mind.

Not to hate on USA underground artists, they dope too. But why go 'cross borders when there is treasure in your own backyard?

  • @sharv33n he´s canadian?i thought he's black

  • @lenirio Fucking kids these days.....

  • @lenirio

    ??????????

  • @sharv33n other than justin bieber every canadian artist rocks

  • @222omalley i agree with that, with the exception of nickleback

  • @222omalley more true words have never been said

  • @222omalley even ryan adams?

  • @sharv33n wtf,?? what does race or ethnicity have to do with good music!

  • @acidwaste00

Hahaha. Where did I mention race or ethnicity in my comment? Those two words aren't even in my comment. Lol!

All I mentioned was a country, a country that has great talent. Re-read my comment please and thank you.

  • @sharv33n There is a problem tho for every k-os or rush there 3 Nicklebacks and justin biebers

  • @sharv33n

They brought us justin bieber k-os doesn't make up for that.

  • @brockencydesucks

You guys brought Rebecca Black... We fair? :)

  • @brockencydesucks Unfortunetly you are right my friend, but TheCabouflage has a good point. Ahaha

  • @sharv33n I like to think that talent transcends national barriers.

  • yeah insane flow, heard about K-Os first time today by friend. luv it yet. peace out

  • insane flow

  • only question i gotta ask is why dosnt this have over a million views yet? but yet soulja boy has them? This goes to show going platnium dont means ur good it means there are over a million of people who can be dumb as fuck....excuse my french ....K-os X lupe Fiasco would be an ILL combo

  • @grayme28 I totally agree bro, and yea lupe and k-os would be fuckin sick bra, cheers!

  • k-os' last two albums went platinum

  • Only went platnium in canada i think....

  • He's a canadian artist.....what do you expect? trust me he's big in Canada, not in the U.S. because...he doesn't promote himself in the U.S. so don't expect people to not know him around here

  • You dont need to promote yourself in the US to be recognized on a global scale...alot of media and music productions start and take place in canada...Example Drake(even though he is super overused) started off only in canada not in the states...he got recognized in the states though...its because drake talks about mainstream junk..n kos is more abstract thats the only reason he has topped universal charts+he hasnt collabed with real mainstream artist jayz etc

  • oh i wasn't saying if you promote yourself in the US you'll be known in a global scale.i was saying, whereever you promote yourself, thats where you'll be known, its not common, yet not rare for friends to pass along an artist to another friend, & when they do their friend probably won't follow them that deeply. Of course i mean this in K os case, since they don't put alot of money behind him for promotion, well they do, but not more than drake

  • yea but drake sucks now, listen to the underground song with Drake, Saukrates, and King Reign, Drake had talent, but he sold his soul to the bullshit that is mainstream.

  • @borisisgay56 u cant lose talent lol he is just more focused on getting a name out and making money plus he really dosnt fit in with Young money records he sticks out like a sore thumb..

  • ahhh you have such a point even though im just a teenager i can tell that there are so many idiots out there . . .

  • @grayme28 I was just thinking that when I listened to K-os' 4 3 2 1. Lupe would rip it. Aww man K-os x Lupe? could only dream. sigh

  • this is the most amazing song i have ever heard

  • These are the best lyrics I have ever heard in a rap song.

I'm Slangin verbs my intent is not sinister, son of a minister bible thumpin comissioner finshed and album strapped it in nostalgia of cafeteria battles just me and nigel

Im spinning thoughts with aphogratical force, shoot the monkey off my porch and pass myself the torch to light it UP

he deserves way more respect and praise than he gets.

  • so i missed out on seeing k-os live in jacksonville florida because i was 16 and thought at the time that you were supposed to get as fucked up as possible before entering a show.... k os opened for gym class heros.. HAHA

  • One of the best flows I've heard.

  • Such a" True" artist continues to evolve his style yet stay himself

  • thank you for posting the album

  • My pleasure. :)

  • Nuff Respectz Trini Byoi.

    T.DOT 4 LIFE

  • T.O / Hamm Town lol

  • thats exactly the way i like it....big tune....
