the brass diflector is also for righties because the casing is pulled out ouft the chamber then the case almosts scrapes the receiver so the diflector bounces the casings of so you dont get hot brass in you ear or maybe cheak ive had ead gear taken right off from a case just missing thr diflector

i just got this today and its AWESOME but the black flashhider it came with WONT screw on. I just keep turning and turning it and nothing happens.Any ideas why??????? and yes i tried screwing both ways.

@MrXXTHATONEGUYXx make sure you have it lined up correctly. if you're using the barrel extension, make sure you cleared off all the glue and reminant orange flash hider off. check your threads for any damage too.

@DarthKabal yes, but you will have some of the inner barrel sticking out :p the length is optimized for use with the included flash hider. Besides, why wouldn't you want to use an AAC blackout? ;)

@MrXXTHATONEGUYXx slightly, yes. that's cause the upper receiver metal while the lower is polymer. you can see this difference in other guns with similar setups, like the Magpul PTS Masada.

@MrXXTHATONEGUYXx I'd say yes, but while you're in the gearbox I'd swap out the piston for one with metal teeth. I do that with all my airsoft guns, as I usually run high speed setups. I'd just keep this gun stock, it's perfect as is, and there's just no need for this gun to shoot 400+ fps.

@MvPxTank The VFC was getting about 19-21 rounds per second on a 9.6v standard AEG battery, where the Dboys was getting a typical 14-16. The accuracy was lacking compared to the VFC as well. The range of accuracy on the dboys was about 170 feet. as for the VFC, i couldn't find a range it wasn't shooting accuratly at. that thing drills. Idk where you get your information dude, but you'd have to spend as much as a VFC to get a Dboys working as well as a VFC does stock.

I hate to break it to ya buddy but i think you could have done better with the dboys scar H. It is about 199.99 but sometines it can go on sale to as little as 160. It is made of a much higher quality plastic and a much better and longer lasting upper reciever. The upper reciever is metal but like the vfc the lower reciever is plastic. The dboys scar comes with a fu ctional bolt catch and it sounds alot cooler than this one. The plsstic is very thin on this model that you have and is gaurenteed

@MvPxTank well, first off I bought this gun before the Dboys SCAR-H was even out. and trying to compare a Dboys to a VFC is like trying to compare a Buick to a Lamborghini . you just can't do it. The Dboys is a clone of the VFC, just like the Echo 1. they're both made of pretty much the same thing, possibly even better with the VFC. I've felt a Dboys MK17, both recievers are made of pretty much the same nylon polymer. the performance of the Dboys lacks though in internal quality where it counts.

UR lucky the dboys has lasted u this long

the spring is a field spring the one that comes in the gun is a cqc spring the field one will get 400fps the cqc will get 350fps

@sparta436 This one I got from Evike. And I can confirm this gun has metal ball bearings, not plastic bushings. VFC in my opinion exceeds even that of KWA in my opinion. Airsoft GI also has it in stock if you wanna order it from there (which I recommend).
