It is genuine! The first jet pack was made in the 60's and has performed at lots of air shows and sports events and in a James Bond film. I don't know how many there are, but I do know that other people are also trying to design jet packs, but not having much success.

The flight only lasts 30 sec, so to get this record height I think Eric had to use the castle! He probably didn't have enough fuel to land back on the ground! Hence my "much respect" for Rocket Eric!

I am just so in awe of this!! H2O2 is pretty nasty stuff. If it is not pure enough the rocket will cut out. The jet is probably several hundred degrees. If the rocket bits can't stand the pressure there will be a mighty bang! -- And then you go and stick it on your back and propell yourself to 150ft in the air!!

This is real. The only downside to these jet packs is that you are extremely limited by time. They generally can only fly for under a minute.
