They stopped the hulk too but they just hurried up and made an ending to the hulk. the surfer stopped in the first season lol. look in the guy who who upped these videos profile. he has a link to season two scripts. they just never animated them.

The reason was not that,the whole point was that the Marvel animation was close to bancropcy so they quit it because the continuity was not even in production so they chose to remove it along with Hulk which was stoped for the same reason.

I've seen this before.

Basically, Thanos succeeds in rolling the universe back to the very begining, and it just ends like that on a cliffhanger. Marvel was going to make more episodes (they even have the scripts for the next season posted on a site somewhere), but they were going through some bankrupcy issues at the time.
