This new generation of adults doesn't respect a dollar. Their parents didn't teach them and they are inundated with a consumer oriented culture where buying is equated with success. Not to mention that shopping for many people activates the pleasure center of the brain so you are dealing with an physiological challenge as well. I doubt many of the cases on her show ever really make a permanent change.
i just started watching Gail here in the USA. I like her attitude and common sense approach to saving money and getting rid of debt. It's down to earth and very doable. i'm going to get her books and watch more of her. She's serious and doesn't fool around. But at the same time she isn't over barring and all doom and gloom. I like her 100% more the Suze O. At least Gail isn't a man hater.
