I don't think most of us Americans think were perfect. Its just that right now most of our music is controled by like 3 companies so we don't get music that is fresh. Most of our music is over produced. It's written by some 43 yr old in a suit and sung by some 19 yr old tart whose voice is run through a synthizer.
