  • @Huffnhustle What, did you just say that he was better than Stevie Ray Vaughan? I hope that you're joking.

  • @Huffnhustle nobody can even come close to Stevie Ray Vaughan he will always be one of the greatest blues guitarist ever

  • @skylarpena SRV is dead and gone and can't grow anything more. Don't get me wrong; his work will stand a long test of time. However here you have an 8 yr old who has years and years to grow and stretch and strut. A fine wine takes a bit of aging.

  • he's going to be the best guitarist in the world if he keeps practicing how he is now amazing (L) by the time he's 30 i can only imagine

  • Haha listen to all these jealous comments! Too bad hes banned from playing in any bar establishment serving alcohol by the state of Wisconsin. looks like there's lots of " J E A L O U S " FUCKS with a bit of power behind them all because someone wrote an angry letter! LET THE KID LIVE HIS DREAM

  • sloppy playing

    Cheers from Romania!

  • In regards to dannyinternetz comment : This child has a gift and no amount of justification on your part will dismiss that. The fact that he has the confidence and ability at this age is prodigal. Think before you speak.

  • @g3speed14 he was 8 when this was posted in 2008 so with my psychic ability's im gonna guess 24

  • i could play almost that good when i was negative three.

  • WOOOOOOOO YAAAAA GO T-MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He's good, but even for 8, I wouldn't call running through pentatonic scales prodigal.

  • he's good

  • why does everybody like him?? It sound like fucking crap

  • as much as i would hate to admit it. i am 15 and he is much better than me he has been playing 5 years same as me and he is better i am a bit jealous but i still can admit he is definenetly better than me and he will definently be the future of blues.

  • @Bunddy1993 with the whole eye thing...he is faking that....and yeah he is 8...and yeah he is good...but he is no way near better than me...im one of the youngest studio guitarists in nashville

  • @gibsonlp1102 why do we care are you the one in the video no i dont think so. get some videos up and start doing performances then we will care. He is part of featured youtube videos so once you get there then we will be amazed.

man, what a moron you must be. this kid is 8, you stoopid smartass!

  • this is a kid. if you can't see his AMAZING talent you're just an idiot.

  • You can tell he's got the feel for it but he just can't express it yet. He'll get the dexterity when he gets older and the feeling will show through

  • @fender8621 watch the news report about him being unable to play in clubs anymore. he's gotten a lot better

  • @fender8621 he can express it pretty well for only being 8 though you gotta admit it.

  • damn this kids gonna be livin it up in his life lots of drugs and groupies no doubt haha

  • This kid needs to hook up with the other 8 year old Quinn Sullivan. This like racing eather you have are you don't. He will be at the very top some day.

  • LOL I love that "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" hahaha awesome. I WISH I had half the amount of soul he has now at 8 when I was 16!

  • Yes, I must apologize for that but you see, Tallan's father Carl had given me his video camera to record while he took still pictures. As soon as Tallan came up on stage, everyone pressed forward. I was sitting on the floor getting stepped on. Anyway, I count both Tallan and Albert as friends. :)

    Roy

  • stevie ray vaughans re-encarnation this is awesome

  • its funny when he's down on his knees and he's still taller than him :D

  • haha is there something in the water? I love it!

  • blues is awesome

    wot do you prefer?

  • most likely miley cyrus or jonas brothers

  • Wow coming from someone who cant spell sucks this means alot, the world really validates your opinion. Now go jump off a building and make the worlds average IQ go up.

  • prod⋅i⋅gy /ˈprɒdɪdʒi/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [prod-i-jee] Show IPA

    3. something wonderful or marvelous; a wonder.

    4. something abnormal or monstrous.

    5. Archaic. something extraordinary regarded as of prophetic significance.

  • I love when he tries to copy SRV playing style, awesome. I hope his father is getting free hearing protection monitors for his kid. All the loud gigging catches up to you one day, trust me I know!

  • LOL love this shit keep on ROCKING T MAN

  • I must apologize for the camera work. Tallan's father Carl handed me his camera to video this and we didn't have a tripod. I sat on the floor while being bumped by others. Everyone crushed forward to get a glimpse of my young friend.

Tallan is the REAL deal and remember, this was shot almost a year ago and you should see him now. He jammed with Walter Trout this past summer and simply blew everyone away. Yes, the future is bright for all of us to watch the T-Man!.....Roy

  • ini bocah keren banget...

    bluesman sejati

  • youre kinda weird...

  • Well, ya sure make me smile!!!

  • T man needs to find a C man. C for CAMERA> or buy a tri pod

  • this kid is so awesome! truly talented!

  • thats my moms cousins grandson! hahaha

  • There is an old blues man soul in your son. please nuture this fact and let him listen to jonhson, howlin wolf, muddy waters and jimi hendrix. your son will understand and will not fear these people. please watch after your son when he turns 10 years old. you will need to Protect him more then ever.God bless this sweet boy and his family too:)

  • Some of you are CRAZY! This kid is AWESOME!!! They are having a play off, not the older one teaching the younger one!!

  • the kid is alright, got no soul yet tho... defintely has some chops... he will be great when he hits the teens, and starts to actually experience some problems.. till then he is just an imitator to me.

  • yeah? what the hell were you doing at 8? this kid no doubt has soul. Do you see him when he plays? hes lovin itt.

  • good lord this kid is going to kill it someday...

awesome how the older players are "teaching" him how to play..

  • Good God, do you really think that Les Paul or any of the other talents in the world started out sounding like they do now. No!!!. It takes time but he's got and he will get better as he matures.

  • SRV has come back!

  • All I have to say about anyone posting negative comments or other such bullshit is how many of you have sat on a stage and jammed with Les Paul of all people? The kid is a prodigy and if he plays this well at age 8 he is only going to sound sweeter as he gets older. He has already said he wants to write his own stuff but for now he emulates the masters and quite well at that I might add.

  • WOW!!!!

  • Awesome!! It's amazing how many people are posting negative comments on your videos. They're just jealous! By the time you are their age, you'll be 50 times better! lol ; )

  • He's feelin it alright! Well done! :)

  • it seems like people see him as a novelty. especially those he plays with, including buddy guy.

  • down with t-man... jk!

  • good for an 8 year old. yes, but IMO, when he gets older, he should try to find his own style. Don't get me wrong, SRV is the greatest influence to have, but don't copy the same exact sound.

  • when he gets older his hands'll get bigger and he'll be able to do more and then he'll be truely amazing [not that he isnt already] and he'll have record deals and junk

  • if he doesn't get murdered first.

  • ya lol he makes me feel bad sometimes too

  • SRV copied Albert Kings every lick and then Hendrix, and his brother and then he found his sound, and not at 8 yrs old. Kids playing music is a good as it gets. you might need therapy.

  • I know that, and that's why I said "when he gets older....." in my last comment. I too have just now found my own style/sound...... it has taken me 4 years to find it. Don't take what I said the wrong way, it's advice to the kid in the purest form.

  • no eight year old has any choice in the matter other than the choice to play. I would say the kid plays like a kid and the beauty is that he has great taste in music. A music note has to sound the same no matter who is creating it. Its like a kid thinking 3 and 3 is seven, not bad, kinda close but music is math with soul. There are right anwswer and good answers .I doubt you found a style/sound either, you may just be playing someone you have heard better to your own ear.

  • I have, because when you find your sound and style, you take some of the major things from your influences, as stevie did with Albert King and Hendrix, and combine them with your own feeling for the music. When people can say, "Oh, that's so and so playing, isn't it".... then you have surely found your own sound and style.... there's no escaping the influential sound you get from your idols though, if that's what your trying to say.

  • give him a break, he's EIGHT. when you were that age, you were maybe still pissing yourself.

  • I didn't say he was bad, he's great........ don't take what I said the wrong way

  • Watch out Al, you,ve got competition!

    (C,mon, He's your nephew...right?)

  • this kids goooood
