There from the US but they have an affinaty with the UK because we were having a rockabilly revival in late 70s early 80s and the americans had no interest in them so they came here and got really big (with the help of davey edmunds) so they like the uk because it got them famous really. Runaway boys was there first hit in the UK and all the original teddy boys hated them. They still freakin rock but they didnt play Gina when i saw em!

many of you should know that the stray cats were indeed formed in the U.S but they received little of a fan base. they heard of the rockabilly revival going on in england in the late 70's early 80's so moved across the pond. when releasing their second album it received bad reviews so they went back to the U.S
