  • i saw them on brixton academy on septer of 2008 and there was amazing...stray cats rules

  • ROCK N ROLL !

  • Thanks for posting this song, Johnny. It is one of my favorites from the Stray Cats. I have often wondered how Buddy Holly would have sounded if he had been able to perform the song. It has such a strong Buddy Holly sound to it.

  • That was a reply to Edhallick by the way

  • Madonna is in the Rock and Roll hall of fame and the Stray Cats aren`t even though they started their careers at the same time. What does this mean? Madonna is more Rock and Roll of course!

  • State of the music industry and most of the people who lap it up like sheep I'm afraid :(

Almost like people have forgotten what music actually is nowadays - sad when you think about it.. Also sad that bands seem to be written off by the time they'r in their mid thirties, never giving them a chance to develop. It's a crime really.

  • yer right there bro. Im 21 I like these guys, gotta thank me older bro and his mates

  • I'm 15 and I love them! :D

  • im 12 and i love em!

    xD

  • I'm 2 and i love them! :D...wait

  • don't say so stupid things!! madonna is only an addict whore. stray cats are pure RnR, any other band in the '80 were better then any other band!!

  • listen to the josie cotten version..just as good

  • I LOVE the Stray Cats, and my name is Gina. Could this be any better? Thank you for sending this to me, sweetheart.

    STRAY CATS RULE!

  • Went and saw them live 20/02/09 in melbourne and they rocked. i'm from a hard rock background and these guys can play. definetely no fags.

  • fuck off

  • i love the song .

stray cats are the best rockabilly band ever.long live the stray cats.

  • yeah they made big back in like the 70s

  • WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE BIG TIME?//

  • uh Im pretty sure they did

  • Mann das waren noch geile Zeiten: Rockabilly Rules Ok

  • this song ive ever heard

  • eddie i agree with the comment from ozid your an idiot i been into the cats since the 80,s lee rocker is a great slap bassist ,you ever seen them live ? i doubt it cos if you had you would know it not just talking from a fans point of view but as a musicians,i used to play drums with rockin lord lee and the outlaws a long time ago dunno if your a brit but our bassist plays with the corsaires and he loves lee

  • There from the US but they have an affinaty with the UK because we were having a rockabilly revival in late 70s early 80s and the americans had no interest in them so they came here and got really big (with the help of davey edmunds) so they like the uk because it got them famous really. Runaway boys was there first hit in the UK and all the original teddy boys hated them. They still freakin rock but they didnt play Gina when i saw em!

  • eddie burns74 u r an oxygen theif u fuckin cretin. lee rocker along with brian n slimjim put on the most powerful show in the history of rockabilly. i saw them at the old melbourne hotel in perth, western australia in1990 on acid and it was a life altering experience in the MOST positive fashion.

  • maybe you don´t even know what rockabilly is

  • many of you should know that the stray cats were indeed formed in the U.S but they received little of a fan base. they heard of the rockabilly revival going on in england in the late 70's early 80's so moved across the pond. when releasing their second album it received bad reviews so they went back to the U.S

  • Well, name a better one then? I bet he plays slap bass better than you do.

  • i love gina :)

  • corecct you hear on the voice that they are from The US You idiot !

  • son los mejores!!!

  • oh and by the way, the Stray Cats actually are from the USA, from Long Island, New York to be exact. They met in school so yeah.

  • They included this song on their playlist over here in Amsterdam, so I think they play this at every venue?

  • Man, I hope they play this at the Brixton gig, I'll just EXPLODE on the spot!!! in my top five Stray Cats songs ever.

  • The only importent things what the USA give to the world. Elvis, Coke and THE STRAY CATS

  • WHOOOPS!!! what a Fucking twat I am, was a bit pissed, remebered Brian having english accent(what was I thinking) and song rumble in Brighton (assumed Brighton UK, notorious for rocker/ skinhead / mod fights. Massive apologies, you're spot on.

  • They are from America you fucking dipshit! If you were a real fan you would know this man you are an idiot!

  • The Stray Cats are a rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra) with school friends Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York.

  • ..my name is gina

  • fuck, I still can't believe I saw the mother fucking STRAY CATS.

  • oc fair?

  • I was there.. Last row..

  • i was lucky, finland. Second row, played this and bring it back again with lee rocker on vocals!

  • SOOOO CATCHY

  • 17 de agosto EN ZARAGOZA EXPO2008

  • Great Stray Cats!!

5 stars and into my fav

  • there not comin to the U.S????

    man that sux!!!

  • You got them last year.

  • Still Fantastic....see ya at Stray Cats Farewell Tour 2008....

  • I can. Seeing as they're not coming to the U.S. It would give me more time to find the money for a ticket to Europe.

  • looooooooooooooooove it!!!!

  • it must be really though to play 20 songs with a slap bass in a row like lee rocker does... Your fingers must bleeding after that!! Respect to Lee Rocker!!

  • Oh, sorry. Respect to Brian and Slim Jim too!!

  • maybe, but Lee Rocker got tape on his fingers

  • he does?

  • yeah

  • whatever dumbfuck

  • whatever dumbfuck

  • very nice

  • Nice song.

  • Great song ! One of my fav's. from them !! Very rare !!!!

  • The fat bass.

  • Wonderful music!!

  • for me,english are too cute...it's like that,hummmmmm

  • lo mejor de lo mejor, increible,Brian un genio de la guitarra electrica

  • yo tambien soy de Lugo y bastante fan de los Stray CaTS

  • Really cool, band!!

  • So, yeah, I'm a bit confused (or stupid), but, who originally played this song?... because If I'm not mistaken blast off! is from 1989... and I have this album from another band relased in 1981 where there's a cover of gina. I hope somebody can clear this to me.

  • u kno what... i love their songs that sound like this, altho i like "rock this town" and "s.c. strut" but honestly those 2 songs are over rated vocally and musically there not as good as this song or "bring it back" cuz it's more catchy and apealling and you could listen to it over and over if yall kno what i mean. but yet again it's my opinion so no one should start spammin or bad mouthin cuz i like these guys and thankz for posting this video

  • i know what you mean

  • Fantistic rockabilly, the best since decades

  • Awesome song love it its got a catchie beat.

  • great song!

  • I didn't know there was a video to this song! I haven't heard it in ages since my vinyl got ruined. I wish the Blast Off album was back in print and on CD. This and Nine Lives were my fave songs off that album.

  • Well.. you might be a bit slow in that matter but I have the CD for a looooooooooong time.

Must admit that we have the same taste of songs. For me these two were the best as well.

  • This is one of their most under rated songs, originally featured on Blast Off. This definitely should be on a best of!

  • always great song!

  • sounds a bit like a buddy holly song, cool stuff!

  • great SONG!

  • preach on brother

  • beautiful song

  • why isnt this song in any of the compilations or the DVD? it deserves to be there

  • Well done. Thanks a lot man!

  • Classico do rockabilly!!!
