Gerhart is definitely a Running Back, moving him to fullback would only hinder his abilities...Hell he is faster than Knowshown Moreno who ran a 40 time in the 4.60s Gerhart ran a 40 of 4.50 the guy is only going to get faster..His ability to carry people and bulldoze them only strengthen his case and he has underestimated cutting ability. i know 40 times don't mean much other than they are fast, but his 3 cone drill time was very fast as will which will help him. who ever gets him is good to go

I don't get why doug Williams could not get a NFL contract after breaking Super Bowl passing records nor do I get why San Diego moved up in the draft to put a tweener like Hester at Fullback who had 1,000 yards at LSU. Unfortunately, the NFL will never let this talent tote the rock. If they let one white play RB, then even the drunk white fans will start saying "why not more". That's why Peyton Hillis is on the bench in Denver when he had 160 combined yards against the Jets last year when given a chance to start at RB only because the Broncos were decimated by injury. That's why Jacob Hester is sitting on the bench in SD after leading an SEC school to the national championship at RB with over 1000 yards.

Gerhart will carry the rock and start. He's simply that good. True, it is harder for the white back to crack the lineup just like its harder for the the black QB, but I think that's changing on both fronts, and Gerhart will help break sterotypes. I would love to see a guy like this at Denver because of the way he naturally runs downhill.
