This song is written by Tony Clarkin, in the uk rock act, Magnum. It's originally titled LES MORTS DANSANT from the On A Storytellers Night, from 1985. This Patty Smyth version ain't so fantastic directly, but it's hard to beat the original masterpiece with Bob Catleys elegant and emotional vocals. But, it's a good try tough!
I love that entire album and also wish they had made a video for this song. (I actually would have loved to have one of each song.) Thank you. This baby's going into my faves.
This is an awsome song it was originally by the British band Magnum, originally called Les Morts Dansant probably the most under rated of bands.....guys you got to check out the original !!!!
Great cover version.......Tony Clarkin should be proud of Patty and her band
