  • Hiya its me again, forgot to ask in my previous post. What does the farmer do with the hay/straw bails after this?

    Cheers again Roger

  • Hi there Guys, I love the video showing the rat problem. It's really good to see rural life the way it has been done for years, and that the youngsters are envolved in this and not stuck behind some game or another. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.

    Roger

  • Hi Gang, Can i join?

    Regards

    Roger

  • 21:15 "You see that 'white and Black' bale over there...?" Yeah sure right next to the 'Black and white' bale yeah!?

  • i love this dogs congrats from czech rep

  • Fun to watch around 17:30 when the mother load of rats comes out of the pile. This is what these dogs' dreams are truly made of. What a great hard day of fun for man's best friend. 200 rats probably prevented 200,000, more from some future infestation. Gotta love watching these dogs.

  • You're just a bunch of bloodthirsty yobs really aren't you and look at the state of the place it's a bloody mess, clean it up that might help.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST to be honest rats are virmin and the pile looks like wrapped bales of hay so its the dogs nature

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

Where use to the critism by urban dwellers. Figuire this. A rat infestation will literally cause all live stock and crops to be eaten. Rats will eat raw flesh if in packs.

Then imagine how much money its going to cost you for a loaf of bread or some fresh vegetables? Lets up the game. Consider a newborn Baby was in a rat-infested house in Australia. Rats wouldn't care. Its food to them. Just think yourself lucky you have Dogs willing to do the hard jobs in life.

  • @euroskeptic1 1. You can't spell, typical country yokel moron

    2. What is a new born baby even doing in a rat infested house?

    3. Why not use poison? Why not use Infra red and shoot them at night? I'll tell you why because grown up country bumpkin yobs like you and the ones in the video take pleasure in ripping animals to pieces. You LIKE doing this, it appeals to a sadistic part of you. Now get orrrf moy laaaaand................

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

    1. Actually I was born disabled with learning difficulties including dyslexia. But I expect ignorant people to mock me because their substance doesn't exist.

    2. In places like India & Australia vermin plagues are very common. A whole community could be infested with rats due to wild food shortages.

    3. Posion is a expensive product. It is also a risk to other livestock. Natural order is the best alternative.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I think you know even a riflemans wages or posion is a considerable cost. The majority of us "Bumpkins" are either slaves to Tesco or are struggling to make a living. Now I do

not own any land at all. Im a tenant farmer. Im lucky enough to be able to sell Cabbage

Plants at £1.50 a tray which undercuts Homebase/B&Q but if I was to adopt your pest control system I would be on a equal footing with the big companies. I would go bust.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I won't lie to you though. I do hunt but theres a difference between me and the red-coats. I use what I kill. I eat wild rabbit and wild pigeon. I give the rats I shoot to the neighoors cats or I simply put them in the compost heap. However the problem is

the amount of Rats that are breeding around our small hold now is getting out of control

and Im not a rich person. Im just like you. So its either get some Dogs or go bust.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I have a question for you. Should every farm in Britain become a Corporate farm where

the produce is sent straight to the high price-wasteful supermarket chains or should

there still be those independent farmers who use accient methods to give you decent

    produce at a fair price.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

Oh and heres the Leauge Against Cruel Sports number. 01483 524 250.

Say the following. A bloke in a town in Binbrook Lincolnshire is using Terriers to kill rats.

  • @euroskeptic1 OK I personally don't like rats at all, I find them revolting, but my point is that if you're going to kill something just kill it don't have a good laugh about it and enjoy it when you do so.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

It's not a question of liking animals. Its a question of "is this practical?"

I will still continue to use Dogs to flush out pests and game because its the most cost-effective and speed-effective way.

You do know the only people who take pleasure in killing are Pheasent shooters.

Do you also know without Pheasent shoots Pheasent populations would dwindle

because of Corporate Farms? The Woodlands would be sold off to Tesco. Is that what you want!

  • @euroskeptic1

Your modern day Pheasent is released into the wild after Winter and has a great life. But you can choose their death. They can either have a fast death with a shot-gun catridge or they can be ripped apart by a Fox.

Have you seen a Fox kill a Pheasent? It aint pretty. There is lots of suffering and blood. Funny thing is you will call us Bumpkins butchers yet your beloved Fox is just like us.

Best way you can understand is by watching a fox kill hens in a chicken coop.

  • @euroskeptic1 The pheasant is an imported species probably not a good choice to use as it could be said eradicating them would be sensible.

What about the carnage when a loose dog attacks sheep? Let kill all dogs..

What about the millions of small animals killed in the UK every year by the domestic cat (in cruel fashion) maybe we should kill all cats too. This could be justified to protect the indigenous wildlife I think. Not popular politically though.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I'm afraid Pheasents have been in this country for a 1000 years. Eradicating them just to appease town people would yet again cost rural areas more job losses since people come from all around the country to shoot.

You and I know what the deal is. There are a select group of people who want to destroy every kind of hunting full stop because of (A) Class War and (B) because

they redeem nature as unethical and immoral.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

You really think a Gun Dog is going to go for a Sheep? What Planet are you living on.

Only thing a Gun Dog would try and do is sexually abuse it. Horny Springer Spaniels are the worst.

If your going to think from my perspective atleast use some common sense.

I'll tell you what you need to keep a look for if your an ethical animal lover.

    1. Look out for Shooters who don't kill their Pheasents after the Game has been shot.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

    2. If you see anyone hunting Foxes make sure the handler has no more than 2 dogs. This is so he can have them under control in order to get a quicker kill on the Fox after a flush.

    3. If you see anyone flushing a Fox from a burrow make sure they don't have multiple Dogs underground. This will cause Dogs to panic and not be able to get to the surface.

Most likely die due to stress.

    4. Ratting with mutliple Dogs is completely legal as long as your using Terriers.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I would worry more about animal welfare or alternative solutions than joining Sab8r on his stupid tours across the country. You do know he left a load of students in the middle of no where so he could get away from the Police.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST Remember Cats kill rats too, rats kill birds and pull there heads off, ask any pigeon keeper or any one who has had their avery broken into by rats! Cats are great rat control. Cats have been here for 10,000 years plus

  • @MrNativeDancer The Brown Rat is more harmful to nature then the Domestic Cat is! PERIOD Often squirrels get the blame for what Rats have done in the night time! Rats cause more trouble then they are worth!

  • @MrNativeDancer I don't think the domestic cat is an indigenous species to the UK so 10000 years would be wrong. Anyway just because they kill the odd rat doesn't make up for all the birds and reptiles and mammals and insects they kill IMO.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST Scottish wild cats have been here for well over 10,000 years! let me tell you they are more preditory then the domestic cat. The domestic cat is just a smaller version of our TOTALLY NATIVE WILD CAT! PERIOD! If they really did kill the amount of wild life they say they do there would be nothing left by now. Would you rather see millions of starving birds because nothing preys on them and they eat all the food and have nothing to eat, or a healthy population? Fact is Fact

  • @MrNativeDancer Cats have been here so long now there is an actual balance, next door to me has 3 cats, I have robins, blackbirds nest in my garden and from my observations cats only catch the weaker birds that dont have their wits about them, remember the flying cats too, sparrow hawks and other birds of prey? or do they not count, they kill frogs, newts, mice, birds, sparrow hawk killed both parents from a song thrush nest, luckly for them I rescued and reared the chicks lol so why be selective?

  • @euroskeptic1 The pheasant population should be zero, it's an imported species! I agree that to rename this country Tescoland would be a disaster.

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST

I won't lie. I think banning Fox Hunting was a huge mistake. Do I obey the law? Yes but if I see a Fox peeking its nose near my Chicken Coops it has 15 seconds to flee before I have a Rifle pointing at it.

Now do I enjoy it when the hounds are chewing up a Fox. No I don't like it at all. Infact I hate it but I know that without culling certain species on a estate or farm there will be

problems later on. And its not sustainable at the moment due to the ban.

  • @euroskeptic1 I think can appreciate the damage a fox in a henhouse can do but equally this country is plagued by rabbits and as far as I know the fox is the natural predator in the UK of the rabbit. If we are going to kill foxes we can't complain if the rabbit population booms. Fox hunting IMO is an example of the inbred upper class morons trying to excuse their bloodthirstyness under the cover of 'controlling vermin' and 'tradition'.

  • good dogs

  • love to see dogs, doing what they are born for!
