I accept Jesus as my mate, but something I don't get is the poverty in the world. People living in their cars, dying children with flies on their faces, the hungry starving to death by the thousands and people working for a dollar a week. Poverty is the rape of human worth. That's what gives me pain.

yeah, however its not God who create Poverty its us people. Sometimes we regret to call God and forgot to listen to his voice. We wanted our own will not his own will. If only people learn how to listen to his voice there will be no pain. its biblical that we will experience famine, death etc etc. - Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order things has passed away.

Exactly. It's like Job said to his wife, are we to accept the good that God gives us, but not accept the bad? (Worded differently of course) I mean, poverty sucks, but God will never throw something in front of us that we can't handle with His help. He is our Father and he is merciful and kind and loving and forgiving which is exactly what the passion shows us. =D Praise God every day for the good things we have, even the bad things.

How can so many talk like fools about Jesus Christ? They feel alone and they know they need Him but are afraid of Him. you see, he wasn't just asking for the people who were killing him...it was for every sinner that would ever live...you and me. He prayed for YOU PERSONALLY on that cross. YOU are the reason (as well as me and others) he suffered like this. I guarantee you-if you or me were the ONLY person who ever sinned, he would come down and suffer the same thing.

God is completely Holy and completely perfect, and He cannot abide sin. In the Old Testament, people had to offer a sacrifice to make atonement for their sins because they could not pay the penalty themselves. The penalty for sin is death, so instead of the person dying, something took their place. The same was with Jesus, but He was perfect. He was the sacrifice for all our sins, because the penalty was death and someone had to pay it. Since we could not pay our debts, He had to for us.

u knw... jesus is the god... jesus is the 1 hav human being body... our god is 3 in 1... no others, juz different job... god cannot forgive us directly, bcoz sacrifice is needed for love... if God can forgive directly so thn tis love will bcome no more worthy... Jesus died, bcoz all sins tat we have committed have put us to death with satan...

but God dont wan we die... so jesus has been sent to replace us... he dead, and resurrect...prove tat he dead for our sin but bring us out from the satan

as those men were nailing jesus to the cross through his hands. he was asking God for his forgiveness. even though everything those men were doing to jesus were killing him. even though those men were torturing jesus. jesus still asked for forgiveness.
