Just a comment to all of this rubbish- Conor Oberst is great, lyricually. This is why me, and a huge number of people are fond of him. We understand he's not the only great musician, and he's not. But many favor him because of what he's done with music, and with his life. And this doesn't even soud like Conor's work, so whatever with if he wrote this or not, this isn't the best of their songs anyways.

Conor's guitar is a "Collings" OM model. It is a small manufacturer based in Austin TX. Amazing quality guitars that sound incredible but are pretty expensive. Similar to Martins.

No, I never do I've tried to look every show I've been too but I can never work it out, it's not a conventional his standard guitar is not a conventional "mainstream" make that's for sure...

Lyrically this group[ is not spectacular, but musically I would say they are one of the best put together group of musicians there is....I loves Conor Oberst in Bright Eyes, but it was a different experience....both Bright Eyes and Monster of Folk inspire me on different levels...lvoe it all =D

I was talkin' about this song, if you take the time to read the comment it was directed at someone else who said conor is rubbish now because he doesn't sing about mirrors & fevers, I argued that this album has some of his best work. Which I feel it has. How do you know Jim James wrote this, out of interest, I awonder how collaborative it was and whether we can take each vocal lead at face value.
