What did you make the actual costume out of? Like the round structure? Im making one for my 5 yr old (not this involved) but think a garbage can may be heavy for him
I made this when she was 2.. When she was 3 she used it again.. Won first place and she had all the little kids in her class form a line to try it out. She was too small at 2 but perfect for ages 3-5.. I like the jet pack and remote control ideas.. Maybe the next prototype :) thank you for the positive comments

Does not need eye holes. R2d2 does'nt have eyeholes, silly. It doesn'nt look like it but the blue squares above the red light is all made out of blue mesh, you are able to see all away around the head and out through the blue triangles on top of the head.

sorry man, I wasn't hating I think its a sweet costume I didnt know there was mesh to see through, I just thought that it was hard to see inside so I said it SEEMS like the person inside cannot see, but I guess they can. Didn't imply any kind of disdain

A three year old can and does fit in there. That's how it works with a child inside manipulating it. The kids love this.
