I was born after the Big Band era, but I love this music. It touches my soul and every time I hear something from that era I get chills and nostalgic. I think I died during that turbulent time while I was young and re-incarnated because I so feel as though I have been there, the clothes, the music, the stars. Sigh.
Wonderful *melt* - like ALL(!) from Artie Shaw!

Great sound from an old recording. The GE cartridge probably helps a lot over an old crystal cartridge. Great clean sound.

Great recording played on a great player.
You cannot better the original 78's. All the digital fiddling just spoils that fabulous swing sound. Thanks for uploading. John.

Considering that this is an old 78, the sound is quite good. Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman were the 2 greatest jazz clarinetists.
