One of the "small things" I hope they changed was the runner on 1st stopped running once he was forced out at 2nd. It's basic fundamentals you need to hustle 100% of the time every time. It made no sense to have the cpu not try to take out the SS or 2nd baseman
Guys I need help. I've been away from baseball games for about 7-8 years now. I haven't been The Show nor have I ever bought an MLB 2k game. Once they stopped making the MVP baseball series, I quit buying the games. But I figured it's time. I'm looking for the best franchise/dynasty mode and the most realistic game. If you play MLB 2k8, the graphics of just the backgrounds was great, the players looked good, but the gameplay was bad. 2k12 graphics has degraded over the past 2 years, but they've added a lot like my player mode and better physics. etc. I personally wouldn't buy either new, just rent them and buy them used later, both companies always disapoint.
My PS3 died last September so MLB 11 The Show was my last PS3 game. Now I have to buy 2k12 after 5 years straight of The Show. *Sigh.* Such a downgrade

The most important element to a good online experience is the game itself. The show is by far the better game. The 1 negative with the show online is the frequent issues with lag.

playing the Show series since it first came out, cannot find a better replacement for it, other than the consecutive year. the realism is FACT. i haven't played a baseball game with realistic mechanics or realistic skillset than the SHOW.
you were able to use the analogue stick last year in the show! need to do a little bit of research. in the show online you just have to change some settings for online, and the joystick is standard in RTTS

i've had both..back w/ 2k1O, and mlb 11 for ps3 *everything prior was on psp, and i had 2k5-7 and mlb O8-1O) ..the ONLY TWO things that are better in 2K, are 1.The Cover..2K has had an amazing cover for the past two years..this year, i have NO IDEA why The Show pick Adrian Gonzalez as the cover athlete lol, but moving on #2.the analog pitching, i loved the 2K pitching system..other than that, MLB The Show IS and ALWAYS WILL be..hands down the better game..gameplay, graphics and features and all!

playing the Show series since it first came out, cannot find a better replacement for it, other than the consecutive year. the realism is FACT. i haven't played a baseball game with realistic mechanics or realistic skillset than the SHOW.

you were able to use the analogue stick last year in the show! need to do a little bit of research. in the show online you just have to change some settings for online, and the joystick is standard in RTTS

sad that MLB 2K12 is the only baseball game i'm gonna be able to get this year. If only 2K would put as much work and effort into the graphics and gameplay with their baseball game as they did with NBA then the MLB 2K franchise would actually be worth buying and not just a game to settle for since MLB The Show is PS3 exclusive
