Really interesting video. I've become more accepting of myself as my relationship with god has grown stronger. I have always been closer with god, and still struggle with my relationship with goddess, all though it is slowely getting better. I think its nice to be able to appreciate the male within the female and the female thats within the male. How tall are you?. I wish I was tall, I'm five foot six.
@HippieGirlClaire it's all about taking your time =] Plus women have been in my life for so long its only natural to 'escape' by being in touch with my male buddies and male deities more.

I do like to be comforted though, despite the fact that my family aren't very 'huggy' either, because of that I crave the motherly love of the goddess. I'm very emotional and so I need my emotions to be soothed so I can calm.
It should stay your secret and its not weird that you don't open up about that stuff. I cant speak 4 every man but in America a woman talking about the P word can down grade a woman as beautiful as you a great deal. But maybe that's just me. ;-)
thank u so much for this video I totally get it and I feel I connect with both I watched it last night before my devotion and I usually do my devotion at night upon falling asleep I had a dream that I was alone in a forest with a beautiful meadow and full of Lillies I came upon crystal stairs I walked up them for a very long time when I reached the top Apollo was at the top of the stairs we talked for a very long time and that dream for me was just magical I just wanted to share that with you.
Great video! I get exactly what you are saying. I have a very similar relationship with Horus (the elder) and I find it much easier to connect with him and his maleness than with the goddess on many things in my life. He is strong and wise and doesn't mess around with BS. I know I am stronger because of his influence and it is awesome! Jen
From the 7th grade until I was about 20 or so, I'd refuse to let people hug me. I was flat out like don't touch me, not friends, not family, no one. My parents were in the military and I moved around a lot as a child. I think having people being continuously removed from my life had something to do with it. Even still to this day, I mostly just give people hugs, because it's expected. I don't really get much out of it myself. Blah.
omg sy i have had loads of the problems like hugging and confidence i also have but i have never thought about asking the gods for a dream to help me thanks

Firstly,we'd all be happy to listen to you for 20 minutes,or waaay more!Secondly,alot of the current attitudes concerning the female/male roles have been dramatically influenced by the Europeans from the 17th century to modern times.When you examine the ancient female roles,they were perfectly accepted as warriors/mothers/wives/crones/teachers/creators,all in one.No need to be dainty and demure,these women did it all,and proudly.I think that's the true wisdom behind paganism.BB
