I thought Doris was da bomb!!! back then ;still do.Grew up with them, and still have a fondness for "Let me be the one". prouduced my the great Nick Martinelli,Quality!!!!
Saw them on the english version of Soul Train first ,singing "All Fall Down" with a slick tight dance routine The jacksons would have been proud of. We build them up 2 knock em down in this country(England). Where r they now LA?
I wonder if anybody from the Jackson family ever noticed that band and also what their thoughts might have been. To me it seems quite obvious that at least their style, outfits and dancing were very similar to what the the Jacksons were like - only the music was a bit different.
@rosenkopf I would like to know too. The thing is the Jacksons had surgery to look the way they did, the Pearsons didn't. I do think Denise had a natural Michael Jackson swagger though and her voice at 17/18 was more refined than Janet. At that age it is not hard to believe that Denise was a big fan of Michael. I also think some of their dance moves predates Michael and Janet so kudos to Doris Pearson for been a self taught choreographer. Stedman stop it with the part woman part man nonsense!
dude even tryin to talk like MJ!!! Oh boy

Washed 'himself' in the sink of a public toilet?! I LOVE Five Star, but that lousy excuse is taking delusion and denial to a whole NEW level.
