This was released in the UK in February 1994. Oasis's first single released in the UK was Supersonic in April 1994, pure 2 months later! The Charlatans definitely pre-dated Oasis!

I actually liked Dig Out Your Soul there is a few good songs on there. I'm not sayin I dont like the charlatans, i do, but i just prefer roses, oasis n smiths. And, from, a musical perspective i was simply saying this is nothing like fools gold. its just coz the sky is purple. end of

@LPK101 If you look at it objectively, The Charlatans blow the Stone Roses out of the water too. Most of the Stone Roses superior too kool for skool kudos is based on a couple of records and sentimentality. As an aside, Tim Burgess can now sing, Ian Brown still can't.

Ah man, I remember when this tune was all we had...By the way...Waaaay before Oasis...We wanted the stone roses revolution back...and The Charlatans were there. Super Super band with music that makes us all feel good......Idots on here mouthing about Oasis????? Are you lot havin a laugh???
