Some pre-City Square development pitches were to gut and reuse the mall, but there's severalinfastructure improvements, and well as restrictions on what you can do, to keep the existing mall.
It's sad to see my favorite childhood mall go, but it'll be interesting to see what new stuff will appear.

looks like a private office tower. nice to see city square forming. i would have rebuilt the interior. tear down and rebuild takes a long time.
