I've had one for 16 years. Still works great! I've done a review comparing the GA-30 side by side with the TU-3 for shoppers to figure out which style tuner they need...
Never mind, I know it already. But now I have another problem, I can't 'set' it in an open E. Now I can't tune my guitar that way. Please help anybody.
I have the GA-1 and well, when I picked all the open strings they were basically not even corresponding with the correct strings. Eventually after turning the pegs alot I got them to the correct strings. I'm just wondering why the hell it doesn't recognise the string...I had to make it corrospond.
Gosh, The internet , now youtube is great for pretty much everything . Just about anything you can think of, has a video by someone who was nice enough to post one! Thank you for making this video on the tuner! I've had it for quite some time now and needed to know what the red button, with the # symbol was for? And you were nice enough to answer it for me....Thank you!
@lucirz Dude, I thought I had the same problem, but make sure your guitar chord is connected to the jack fully, if the jack is loose, tighten it, and make sure your volume on your guitar is maxed out.
the flat button is for like if you press the flat button once you can tune your guitar to Eb so the flat button is for down tunings you can tune all the way to drop A with it good for metal players like myself
My tuner is the exact same one but when i tune the 6th string, its says i am playing a 7B but my guitar has 6 strings can someone tell me how to make it tune my 6th string.
i have exactly the same tuner and the day before yesterday everything was pretty fine with it. but now it detects everytime the wrong string. when i pluck my low e string, the tuner shows me the b and if i tune this string very low it shows me a or something different. my g-string is b, my b string is g... what's wrong with it? i don't get the right notes, i tried everything. it's almost impossible. and it's not possible the tuner is not okay, it's brand new.
this is so weird. Every string lights up as green like its in tune, yet the guitar is still terribly out of tune. All the strings are on right, I tuned from the 6 down. How could this be possible?
@lloplop it registers each sound as whatever the pitch is closest to, so say you pluck the low E string, and its way high the tuner might think you plucked the A string
@lloplop I had the same problem. Does it say you are hitting the right string? Mines didn't. I picked any string and it was completley wrong. Evenetually after turning the pegs a shit load I managed to get the tunings right.
6E, 5A,4D,3G,2B,1E, obviously, that's how it appeared once I managed to do it.
I know how to use a electric tuner but mine is a KORG AT-2 and mine shows a red bar telling u where you're tuning but it says 50 cent and -50 and i dont know if that means it's in E flat or whatever (Please Respond)
what the Hz stands for? mine is set in 450Hz and my guitar is still untuned and everytime i set up the tuner i keep breaking a string i am so frustrated
Really? The button marked on/off is the on/off button? ....... Whoa.

Hz stands for Hertz. You want to set up your tuner for 440hz. Good luck.

Good video. I'll be receiving this tuner tomorrow;
Kinda confused; what difference does it make by plugging in your guitar into the tuner than doing it with the microphone?

if u use the input, there would be no noise interference
