Honestly, the ONLY thing I don´t like about it is having to manually set the floor plates for the outriggers. I like the older style where the floor plates are attached. Just lower the outriggers and you are set.
That is one heck of a snorkle. There is one here in my town of Royal Oak Mi, just have never seen it in action. BUT, by the time they get the truck lifted, fire's over...
dont mean to come off as a dick, but if it takes that long to set up, they are doing something wrong. this truck has a 4ft outrigger spread like 99% of all tower trucks (except aerialscopes and some e-ones) each rigger extends out 4ft. I can set up our tower truck in under 2 mins. If ther fire is out that fast. you didnt need to set it up in the first place. They have there uses. I personally love ours. Its a brick shithouse on wheels!!
