Hi everyone, I just started playing this game so I'm learning the basics. Can someone please explain me what the combo codes means? For example this one: S HS 236P (RC) 6HS 632146HS what's the meaning in words?

@crossaleister S = slash (circle button on a playstation controller), HS = high slash (triangle), P = punch (square) and K = kick (x). The numbers are for the direction. Think of the arrow keys as a 9 digit number pad: up is 8, down is 2, left is 4 and right is 6. So 6P is forward + punch. 632146 = right (6), bottom right (3), bottom (2), bottom left (1), left(4), right(6).

I'm new myself so don't know what things like RC mean (though it probably means rapid cancel), but those are the basics.

i used to be moderately good with chip and got at least 1/4 of these combos down, the rest not so well, when i got blazblue i somehow transitioned to Tager and forgot how to play as Chip :(

Very impressive. Hands down best Chipp combos yet. Can you succeed in mission 35 in GGX2? Chipp VS Anji (Maniac), Chipp at half life, poisoned and can only damage Anji with a combo that is over 5. And overdrives dont hurt Anji, only normal and special and dead angle. Judging by this, I think you got more than a shot. Great Job!!

Fail moment. 10 hits, only 7 chain though and totals 276 damage against sol.

It's rare to see a good chipp player online. It's also crazy hard to pull off long combos like that in a match but I've seen it done. I tend to stick to shorter but stronger ones like 6P 6HS (RC) 6P 6HS 632146HS, does 216 damage against sol and for a 7 hit combo, that's more than most of the 15+ ones here. Still it takes some skill to get the timing right for the RCs and FRCs. Very inventive combos and again, I'd like to play them chipp on chipp for some speedfreak action 8D

You need a counter atack to make´it work, knowing that you can´t link a 6P to a 6HS unless the 6P is a counter atack!

I preffer some like this:

S HS 236P (RC) 6HS 632146HS

That dosen´t need a counter atack to suceed.

mate.. whats the point of making a EX Chip video.. EX versions of the characters are considered imbalanced and they are not usually played.

try normal chip and doing real combos that can actually work (and not those with full guard gauge since those are useless also)

youtube is realy lacking on a good chip combo video =)

By the way, If you use your head just a little you´ll see that all of this combos are possible in a real match.

The bar of tension is hold on maximun, but I don´t use more than 1 bar on each combo, some combos even less than 1 bar.

And don´t be stupid, the guard bar is on normal conditions.

I think it's a good Ex mode Chipp combo video, but you should change the name so that it says that it's an Ex mode Chipp combo video.
