  • Very great tutorial. I think your english isn't perfekt - but for me this is good, because mine isn't perfect too, so i can understand you very good :D

Thank you, greetings from switzerland :)

  • thank you very much, great tutorial! Now I have mode2 like a boss

  • @shebotnov ...with pleasure :)

  • he says "now screw this" :D

  • @shebotnov Yes, I say many stupid mistakes, because my English is horrible, and when you must think about "job", and at the same time you must say it in a language that you do not know... Yes, then I can sometimes look like an idiot ... :)

  • @richardmrazek nah its ok, English isnt my mother tongues as well. Its just "screw this" also means as "f*ck this" wenn you dont to do smth. I thought it was funny =)

  • I LOVE it.

    Thanks for that

  • Thanks for the very informative video.......but I have some questions.

Is swapping the spring and the the other part enough to change it from Mode 1 to Mode 2 or vise versa?

    What else makes the change?

Is there any wires that need to be changed?

I don't understand how the handset recognises the change.

  • @biggles333999 Q1 - Yes Q2 - change is only mechanical Q3 - no wires Q4 - after mechanical change, you will change a mode of Tx in System setup (Er9x) or for each model (standard FW).

  • @richardmrazek OK. I've had a look in the system setup but I'm lost.

How do you do the Mode 1 to Mode 2 change in the system?

It's not easy navigating through all the menus.

    Cheers

  • @biggles333999 I found it.

    Job done.

    Works GREAT!!!!!!

  • You did a great job! thank you!

  • Thank You!

  • Thanks man very nice video

  • What do I do next? how do I program 9x? to make it work? in mode 2?

  • @Soldier53flye in case you did not get an answer,r you have to reverse the channels on the receiver side

  • good job

  • gracias idolo

  • I have just finish the change. Its ok.

    Thanks again ;)

Next for me is to connect the LRS DragonLink

  • Thanks, great and precise demo, nice job.

I search a video like this for the DragonLink installation, do you plan to have a DL?

  • @eyesonskycom HI!

In fact, I don't know DragonLink, I will look for it. Yesteryear I start with a new section on my web, about FrSky in T9x, especially with special version of Er9x firmware. I hope, English translation will be soon. And in this section will be a videos about making and installation new components in T9x. I try make it detailed and understable...

  • Hello. I may be missing the point here, but isn't the difference between MODE1 and MODE2 the fact that the throttle is on the right in MODE1 and on the left in MODE2. You don't seem to change anything to move the throttle from one side to the other. Sorry, I may be getting this all wrong.

  • @B0M0A0K ...throttle stick is without a spring... You must move sprint on other stick.

  • @richardmrazek ...spring...

  • Great video big thumbs up.... **but is there a menu change that has to occur?

Another vid did a menu change from Mode 1 to Mode 2.

  • Is that a 3s battery?

  • @bicyclemonkey

yes this is a Rhino 2620 mAh 3s battery

u can connect it to you transmitter but u have to change the battery connector

search for on youtube or even on on google" u don't need a video"

in the video that i saw the uploader said he made 50 flights with this battery with a single charge session and it's still working :)

  • What is the art.nr of the battery?..

  • HK sells the Mode 2 version, the software is the same. You should order the mode that you use. The transmitter has the capability of operating in all modes. HK is notorius for sending the wrong items, and since it does not come with a manual, you are left in the dark on how to convert it.

  • @RLH1510 the mode 2 has a 6 month backorder

  • Is there any software deficiency?? Cuz I just ordered the mode one because of this video

  • Great video. The training swtich on my TGY 9X seems to be backwards, meaning the trainer has to hold the trainer switch to take control (a little hard if you have small hands). Can this be swtiched? Any suggestions?

  • This is the best video I've seen on this particular modification. Thank you so very much.

  • Thanks!!! That was so simple....I could kick myself for not getting a mode 1 and changing it to a mode 2....Now I have to wait for HK to have it in stock....

  • @PatBALEX : thanks for waiting for six months...

  • thankyou.....excellent video :)
