She was in matric when I was in Std 6 at Greenside. She got the main parts in all the school productions - Sound of Music?. I was told I couldn't sing and didn't even make the nun's chorus! Thank god I didn't listen to them and became a successful musician :-) Lovely song Claire, and you have always been an inspiration to me. Thank you!

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it ws the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way."
i am a Brit who lived in SA for many years.Fantastic talent not recognised here, so sad.Loved Mango groove , Sipho and lucky. They just dont know what they have missed.
@monk3yboy69 . Yeah i know man. I lived in England for a couple of years. Sometimes the pastures are not greener than what one imagined or hoped for. Its not lekker when life is good for one person but for the other person its kak. I guess thats just life. I dont know if it a fullfilment of a ying and yang c....p!! But the truth home is always lekker if you project a positive mind.
Anybody managed to find a copy of mango grooves song "Dreams live longer than the dreamer ever does" here on youTube, please contact me. Cant remember what the actual title of the song was.
I left SA 11 years ago...my brother had been spewing that same crap you are, 5 years prior. Must be crappy waiting for a bright future that does not materialize.
Rhavin, hope your outlook improves in the future. Stop admiring the gutter, and turn your gaze upwards. Look a little deeper not just in SA, but there's things happening everywhere that say the world is actually changing for the better. Its a subtle change though, which is why most of the "type A" personalities that have immigrated can't perceive or appreciate it. Really hope you discover what it's like to live with inner peace. Then it won't matter where you live. You'll be happy at all times
this was my tune when i was like 7 i knew all the words to the song
