Not all who preach the Bible are true preachers of God. Not all who quote the Bible are Christians. Because Satan also quotes from the Bible. He twists the truth making it appealing and reasonable but in reality a deceit. That's why he was called a Deceiver. Therefore not all preachers are from God. Some for money and fame and some for sex and influence. Beware of false preachers.

The pressure comes from secular scientist and among atheist who questions the the creation story of genesis specifically the flood story and the age of the earth. So, like I said that is why there is apologetics who defend the faith.

@Caicen i didn't know Soriano until i stumbled upon ds debate on TV while trying to get to another programme. i thought he's Malaysian or Indonesian, actually.. (it would have saved me some blushes, LOL). had he stuck with d Bible, perhaps he might have been able to substantiate his corner. having said that, though, well it's DOUBTFUL cos he FAILED to answer the merest simple question as the flood!!! all i can say is; what a DISASTER. he must be 'LICKING his wounds' after that debate until now.

Soriano's IGNORANCE was EXPOSED in ds debate big time. how on earth could he MISSED on that simple question - of whether it was a LOCAL or GLOBAL flood - when even us mere regular believers KNOW it was global! of course it was, that was why the ONLY survivors were those inside Noah's ark! everyone and everything was eliminated as the earth gone under water for so many days!!! for his followers to say Revelation TV is 'biased', is INDICATIVE of how IGNORANT and tunnel-visioned they are.

@Hiro9390 There are a lot of reasons why is it important. First medicine & vaccines, we need to study bacteria and different viruses in order for us to fight diseases that we may survive them. The study of physics and chemistry, which we owe our technology, imagine if there is still no car or even a security system in an airport, terrorist would have the luxury of blowing up planes. We could'nt have this conversation if there is no science behind it. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

That's quite true rvbolisay. MCGI really never claimed that by words or verbatimly, but in action and teaching you claim it. Why? it is simple, Eli Soriano doesn't recognize any other sect or denomination aside from his, that he vigorously attack other preachers and churches. A clear sign of rejection and a sign of exclusivity. That's why i put the word the word "only".

first - "Ang dating Daan" was not a religious group or a CHURCH, it is a religious PROGRAM produced by the Members of Church of God International (MCGI)
second - as far as i know, never did they said or claimed that their church is the only true church and only be saved..
The purpose of their "program" is to give light and truth "BIBLICALLY" to each and every Christian denominations of their false teachings.

@thuckz it is impossible to watch the entire program on a single video, as i remember, it took almost 2 episodes to complete the "age of the earth" discussion. With almost an hour or two each episodes.
and another is that i have only grabbed this video from euffronie (a follower Soriano). So if you think that these videos are edited ask the follower of Soriano named eufronie.
Just look at the video and you'll find it obvious, that Eli has failed to corroborate his position this time.
