Can you please recommend a good book for jazz teaching, Techniques, ii V's and bebop scales, etc. in all keys? Thanks I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for posting greatly appreciated.

@Truelight0 Thanks for your good words. I learnt a lot of this (a long time ago!) through using Aebersold Vol 1 and 3...lot of info there and transcribing from recordings. Not sure if there is something specific for guitar...might have to write it myself!! :) all the best.

Do you just think in one scale or do you think of 3 scales during this 2-5-1? Like dorian-mixolydian-Ionian??

@GuitarLegend327 Definitely just one scale, and more in term of 'important notes of the chord' rather than a scale.

no, it's a custom 22. for some reason the 24 does not sound as warm. I think the reason being the poles of the neck pickup do not sit in the right place in the 24.

Nice job, could you tell me for C Major Scale 2-5-1 I woudl play Dm7 - G7 - CMaj7. Would I play the pentatonic scale in Am or the C Major Scale? Thanks very much as I am trying to learn Jazz.

Both are ok on a 2-5-1 in Cmajor. Am pentatonic (ACDEG) has some of the notes from the C major scale being the relative minor. thanks for watching and for your comment!

that lick here is so muddy i cant get every note out right.... can u help out? u start out on the 2 fret with the 1 finger i think then go up and down then 3 and 5 position....
