  • @NthbySE @BrunhES

you're right only someone that went to all arenas can tell. That why last year CBC did a pool among nhl players, they were not allowed to vote for there team. When asked what is there favorite rink to play in (best atmosphere) 40% said bell centre. The closest got 9%. Any one that knows well his hockey know no 1 do it like Montréal.

google CBC nhl all star game pool.

  • Is this a joke? Wtf montreal's preseason fans are louder.

    Watch the first 0:30.

    /watch?v=V3qiMkfDJzQ

  • @MOMOarabe Vancouver? They don't deserve a hockey team anymore if they can't accept defeat in the SCF! They destroyed the city... You don't see other fan bases do that. Vancouver fans may be loud, but I have never seen such, stupid, unsportsmanlike, inexcusable cry baby fans. Pitiful...

  • I really don't get why people have so much hate for Carolina. It's really irritating.

  • @2006GoCanes Jealousy. That's all.

  • best fans? lmfao

  • @MOMOarabe how good fans are doesn't matter where you come from! I've been to canes games and they are very very very loud... The bell center is very loud I know, but has it reached 131 dB? No, cause that's a record that the rbc center set, and it still can get to 120-130 decibels in a game! Best fans even though they are from NC!

  • I have been to this arena (from Pittsburgh) and I have to say...it's pretty damn loud.

  • wow its almost as loud as a pre season canadiens game...cute

  • @MOMOarabe because you can tell strictly from the video. i'm sure.

  • @ncsu01

yep, that really not that loud, maybe for you guys

  • @MOMOarabe go to a fuckin canes game.

    Habs and leafs aint SHIT

  • @HIMI5C

there NO way in the world fucking carolina is louder than REAL hockey cities like montreal toronto vancouver. canada own usa when it come to hockey. sorry pal

  • @MOMOarabe u sound so ignorant, just because ur so loud doesnt mean we aint. like I said, go to a fuckin canes game

  • @MOMOarabe Well Raleigh put on a better show than most "real" hockey cities during the ASG now didn't it?

  • @HIMI5C Agreed. GO CANES!

  • @MOMOarabe I've heard the RBC absolutely rock as Caitlyn Price let in a dinker about 20 seconds in to the game. GO CANES!

  • @MOMOarabe Yes because you can hear everything over the announcers

  • @pimpadaisy look it up and you'll see the loudest a stadium has been is 131 dB. One other stadium has reached that somewhere (not hockey)

  • Loudest house ever! 131 dB in game 7 2006 SCF (loudest an indoor stadium has been) and nobody tell me it's fake because it's NOT!!

  • I thought us Canadians were the best Fans Eh?

  • fans are only loud when you cant hear the horn.

  • Habs fan are loud and very suppported but they been around for 100 years. the canes have only been around for a little over 10 years and are very supportive of their team even when their not the greatest team out their

  • If you wanna se fans cheering for their team, WATCH THIS! (Ole ole ola - DIF-Luleå 18/3-11) Search for it and pick the one at the top!

  • hey hey what do you say

  • The Bell Centre's atmosphere during a regular season game beats every other team's playoff 'fans'. It is quite known by now that the Habs fans are the greatest fans in the NHL. They may be assholes at times, but man can they support their team...

    - Sens fan

  • Nashville and Carolina, best fans, loudest arenas. Period.

  • @CountSlippers nashville?

  • @ballcapmusicbox Nashville is home to the T.V. Timeout Standing ovation. I've never seen another crowd do this ever. I know it seems weird, but Nashville does have some of the best fans in the NHL, as does Carolina.

  • @CountSlippers

    Regular Season:

Loudest arenas are all Canadian arenas, chicago (post 2008 season) and even san jose. 108% average attendance rating for all Canadian arenas. (wiki the stat's it's pretty cool to compare the teams) LOUDEST would probably be edmonton (Rexall place is small and amplifies the sound) Montreal is right up there too.

    Playoffs:

All canadian teams again. Carolina was loud as fuck during their run, edmonton was loudest in recent history... (same year as canes)

    -Canes fan

  • @firehawk97 I'm still sticking to Nashville and Carolina, the last 30 games or so, Nashville is deafening.

  • @CountSlippers

last 30 games sounds reasonable, ill agree with you on that one.

    overall probably not though lol

    nonetheless, GO CANES!!

i dont think they'll pull it off this year, but once skinner plays a few more seasons i think him, staal and larose will tear teams right up (Y) ward will still be with them, cole. we're lookin at a really sweet future for the next 3-5 years for carolina, gotta love it!!

  • @firehawk97 Oh yeah, in 3-5, Carolina is going to be an absolute powerhouse.

  • WHAT A JOKE. Best fans are in the Bell Centre, Montreal. Common knowledge. THey act like jerks sometimes, but amazing fans nonetheless.

  • yeah I know I watch KHL sometimes. I wish we did through. add more passion to the game. hockey is one of the biggest sports in america after NFL. MLS isn't that big.

  • @MrScouser18 yes but basket is that bigger then hockey?

  • @assk199 basketball? in some places

  • NHL Fans are pretty lame, search for Djurgården Hockey, swedish hockey team.

    Then you will see..

  • NHL fans dont have any passion for their club.. Why dont they sing and jump?

    FORZA ULTRAS

  • @assk199 this is hockey not soccer. sorry but you have the wrong sport.

  • @MrScouser18 if you didnt know this. many HOCKEY teams in europe got ultra fans

it is just Nhl that dosent.

  • let's go canes !!!!

  • royal bank of canada

  • after watching this, people cant say that hockey isnt popular in NC

  • hahaha i love rosy's face 0:51

  • Loudest arenas are Montreal during regular season and Edmonton in playoffs (when we actually make it of course). i remember being at a club during the 06 Finals Canes vs Oilers and 4 guys from Carolina came in wearing red jerseys. they needed a security/police escort out of the place just so they wouldnt get killed. i guess they had the last laugh tho. oh well hopefully Hall, Eberle, Paarvji can start the upswing for us....

  • toronto has the loudest fans? really...? what are they cheering... a scoreless period for the first time all season?

  • HABS fans are the best in the nhl. And they took a survey of around 700 nhl players, over 500 of them voted montreal as the best fans. minnestota came second.

  • ahahahahaha toronto?

  • @pimpadaisy Loudest arena is in Raleigh, look it up.

  • @gobluejackets61 Yeah sure did you watch any of the habs games in the playoffs this year, i supose you did not, and players around the NHl were poled on the loudest arena and best fans. Montreal canadians won that one.

  • @gobluejackets61 Yeah sure did you watch any of the habs games in the playoffs this year, i supose you did not, and players around the NHl were poled on the loudest arena and best fans. Montreal canadians won that one.

  • @pimpadaisy You can be loud as hell for one series, Raleigh is loud every fucking game. And no that doesnt count booing your own goalie.

  • @pimpadaisy WRONG, douchebag. They tested the RBC Center, and it IS the loudest. So STFU.

  • @xxxcar3hurxxx wow calm down there spaz, its just an arena, yeah i guess you do have the loaudest arena if you all have mouths like that, but honestly theyonly tested the RBC center, so yeah obviuosly its the loudest since its the only result you get, test every other arena trust it wont be you guys.

  • @pimpadaisy Yea it WILL fag...they DID test all of em ya fuckin moron. WE have the loudest....nuff fuckin said. *iggy time, douche.

  • @xxxcar3hurxxx actually they tested the arenas and montreal got 132 decibls and canes got 130 and check this out

    Prices robs chad larose

yeah we won that game 7-2

  • @pimpadaisy Yea, but too bad we OWN your asses in the PLAYOFFS, EH?! EHHH?!?!!?! Molson Miracle in 2002....Down 0-2, and come back to beat you pathetic BITCHES in 6, count em SIX games!!! Yea. Whaasup now, punk.

  • @xxxcar3hurxxx so thats the past and now is now, what matters is now and we are the better team, also is that the only things you can say something that happened nearly 9 years ago, last thing we eliminated both the caps and pens last year and we were the underdogs, the year you beat us in 2002 we were the underdogs, so whaasup now, punk.

  • @pimpadaisy I was ROOTING FOR YOU GUYS LAST YEAR!! Mostly, because I hated who you were playing, but DAMN if they only could beaten Philly...THAT woulda been AWESOME!!

  • @pimpadaisy toronto's fans arent loud you dumfuck

habs flyers hawks and like vancouver or somthin

  • @pimpadaisy - Nah Its ALL about Montreal and Philly.

  • @pimpadaisy Wrong...WE DO, IDIOT!!!

  • @xxxcar3hurxxx funny they tested this year and its the habs, yeah our arena has about 3000 more peopl every game

and they recorded the crowd at the bell centre at 132 deciblas, canes got 130 dec

  • i thought it was a known fact that the habs had the loudest fans.

  • the absolute best nhl crowd is the montreal crowd. I was at the centennial anniversary game and when cammalleri scored a hat trick, there was a 4minute standing ovation.

  • nj devils are the best team in nhl

  • We cheer like this all the time for the Nashville Predators. It happens on a regular basis during one of the tv timeouts near the end of a lot of games. We've had the croud do the wave and have it go around 10-15 times without stopping. Everyone seriously underestimates our team, our town, and our fans. All you gotta do is go to a game and you'll see how excited our fans get!

  • While I agree with our point and understand Nashville has good fans... the wave is retarded; I hate it when it gets started in Carolina, except if the score is way out of hand.

  • i've been to a nashville game. carolina is louder by far

  • Not compared to any game played this year. I went to the Vancouver game this season which they actually won and the crowd was horrible. Can you say bandwagon?

  • bandwagon? really?? Carolina is averaging 700+ fans more a game the nashville is this year, and it is one of their worst seasons. so dont give me that bs

  • There's also a difference between bandwagon and not wanting to pay to go watch the live piece of shit on ice. You can't really expect a crowd to go wild, atmosphere wise, about a team that sucks balls.

  • Probably free tickets from sponsoring companies because for reasons unknown we don't have a lot of backing from regional businesses even though our team has been on the rise the last 5 years. Don't get me wrong though, I am sort of a Hurricanes fan. I definitely don't root against them unless they're playing the Predators which rarely happens.

  • happens on thursday

  • Yeah, I saw that win coming. Hornqvist is awesome. You know he was drafted dead last in the 2005 draft. That was a cheap hit on Sullivan too. He definitely deserved that 5 minute major!

  • i saw it coming too. i also see taylor hall coming in next season.

  • Better watch out, the Blue Jackets might beat yall to the punch. lol

  • There's no reason for places like

Carolina, Nashville, and Florida to have an NHL team.

  • why's that?

  • You would say something like that because you know nothing about Nashville or it's hockey team because if you did you would know that our crowd is one of the loudest in the NHL and that most of us do know a lot about hockey. I'm always introducing new people to the sport so of course they aren't gonna know everything at first, but they always come around.

  • umm...... carolina is not a poor crowd and we know alot about hockey

  • LOL you're CRAZY. Carolina has an AMAZING crowd XD they just don't show the little "GOOOOAL fan breakdown' on tv. LOL

  • that's fucking stupid. Carolina is the worst fucking team in the NHL this season and are still drawing 90%. Sorry if not 100% is "poor" to you so entitled canadians.

Of course in new places people aren't gonna know about hockey because it HASN'T BEEN THERE 100 YEARS. Jesus christ, let the franchise sit for 25 years and people will know about hockey because then there is an entire generation that grew up with it now bringing their kids to the games, all loving it.

  • Why don't you start talking about Atlanta instead of us. They were lucky if they had 5,000 people there tonight.

  • @ncsu01 Well at least we got into the playoffs 4 times and won the cup within our first 10 years dumbshit

  • @27513c what? i'm for the hurricanes here... i don't know what you are referencing...?

  • @ncsu01 u said that's fucking stupid. Carolina is the worst fucking team in the NHL this season and are still drawing 90%. Sorry if not 100% is "poor" to you so entitled canadians.

  • @27513c I still think you are reading what I said wrong... I'm arguing for the hurricanes, not against them-- I uploaded the video!

  • carolina is scary loud and the fans are very knowledgeable

  • @hurricanes1226 you have your facts straight! Go Canes!

  • Ooooooo ..... Those are the best fans in NHL? Bigger noise is before each a game in Czech republic.

  • maple leafs stink go canes

  • GO CANES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Leafs

    No playoffs 4 straight years.

    1-12 start this season.

Averaging 500 over attendance for during those seasons.

Who again has the best fans in the NHL?

  • 5.5 million people in the GTA

    1.5 million in the Triangle

that's part of it, not to mention hockey has been in toronto for more than 12 years. toronto fans also sit on their hands the whole game.

  • best fans?? Where is ur support during those non-playoff years of Carolina... The team doesn't even reach a 90% regular season attendance last year... Thats lame... The team only got support ONLY IF they win??? Thats lame, lame, lame, lame... Title is a big joke!!

  • Some people don't have the money right now.

  • my thoughts exactly....carolina is almost as lame as the blue jackets

  • i think carolina fans are more louder, but still they both suck...

  • that's how sports teams as a whole are, by the way.

  • I was there, it was INSANE!

I love the Canes...attend as many games as possible....

Don't you love how, come playoff time, ever car down here has flags, every kid at school has a jersey on, buildings on the side of the highway have massive canes banners hanging on them...

I was one of those people making noise :)

  • Yeah it is awesome! I really like the way this team is headed! The Canes have some of the most passionate and loudest fans in the league hands down!

  • You really had to be at this game in order to understand JUST how loud these fans were. My ears were ringing after I left this game!

  • i gotta say, every game after this game for the rest of the season/playoffs my ears were ringing when i left. it's awesome.

  • the crowd isnt that loud..i mean i can clearly hear the goal horn..

  • i mean clearly the television audio is a good indicator of how loud a crowd is.

the horn in the RBC is pretty loud as it is, but this video is more about how long the crowd goes on.

  • The goal horn is also one of the loudest in the NHL. Besides, you really can't talk down unless you've actually attended a game

  • ive been to a few canes game and they cheer for an icing they get real fucking loud

  • okay if you think canes fans are loud you should see what the bell centre is like

  • I think Redwings fans are the the best and most loyal but i am also a canes fan and the rbc center is certainly one of the loudest building in the nhl. cant say the same for the basketball games there lol

  • its easy to be loyal when you win every year... and step off on the basketball comment, it is still a hard place to play and would be even more so if state could field a half decent team

  • oilers have the best fans. PERIOD

  • To me the best fans in the NHL are either Carolina fans or Flames fans (im a flames fan so im inclined to say the flames)

  • why flames fans? last time i checked the never have anthing to cheer about O YEA THAT 1 cup eh well i guerss our 5 is alot more dont u

  • DUDE HABS FANS ARE SO COCKY!!

you arent the best team, you dont have the best fans, just because youve been around longer dosent mean your the best

    GROW UP

  • Hahahaa yeah. There are no fans in southeast division hockey. What-the-fuck-ever.

  • hey idiot, come back and talk when the sabres win a cup. lol

  • Montreal can become an enemy of their own fans in their own building.

Last night our fans starting cheering at the faceoff each time the Bruins scored.

    We energize our team.

  • I was there too. It was so loud, you couldn't hear the first goal announced.

  • i was part of that crowd going crazy

  • i got chills

  • Upward and onwards... to the playoffs.

    Loudest house in the NHL.

  • oh yeah 1 more thing...GO CANES!! and good luck in the playoffs!! =)

  • Haha man I remember watching this on t.v. thinking holy s*** when roddy scored and the crowd erupted..i wish i was @ the rbc last week when they played.

  • People who bash canes fans have to watch this...

I don't care who you are... they have awesome fans!!! i dont hear any other crowds like this one during the season

These fans want playoffs and there gettin it this year

you better believe its the loudest house in NHL if there cheering like that during the season

  • Hmmm Montreal Canadiens fans are the best one... sorry :)

  • GO CANES!

  • Looked incredible. I would've given anything to be there

  • I was in sec 116...mid third period on I gave up trying to say anything to anyone. The RBC was rockin'! LOUDEST HOUSE IN THE NHL! Go CANES!!!
