thc isnt water soluble, no amount of waterfiltering will lower your potency. carbon filters do snipe some potency tho

@mickymacky02 Yeah you lose some THC thats why the inside of the bong gets sticky. Solubility isn't the primary factor since any vapor can condense once it loses temperature. The NORML/MAPS study found it changes the THC to tar ratio in a negative way (~30%), thats why you get more efficiency from a small dry pipe, but the study didn't account for the absorption of harmful gases, only tar (solid particulate matter). Bongs are still awesome though :) (not a dumb question btw)

@mickymacky02 Yeah Ive heard of people using several screens stacked in a pipe to use hash... might be better to go with a Ti skillet or oil dome pipe though... hash joints work but some consider it wasteful. Just depends on how much you have.. I can't speak from experience with that, I'm lucky to get good bud at all in this awful state.(and i need for med reasons) #1 state in the US for busting grows + harsh penalties = overpriced weed & increased violence :( Ron Paul 2012!

I got the tall 2011 worked black and yellow gridded stemline to circ, It was 675. MSRP is like 950 or something ridiculous. Fits in well with my gridded circ 2010 trashcatcher (which I think looks more like a peyote perc tbh)

BTW, i do agree that Toro's are getting overpriced these days. But I think it has more to do with the demand for Toro, and the greediness of the retailer to make more profit off each piece. Aqualab used to sell unworked circ/circs for $540 last summer.

And yes toro products are in demand, but they use dirty tactics/blackmail to ensure it stays that way and to maintain price control. They quit selling to any shops that are associated with Boromarket, because toros were being sold there for 300 under retail. Toro didnt like that so they said if you deal with boro we wont deal with you. Just says F.U. to customers he's had for years. JP and toro are greedy bastards man. Used toros are MUCH easier to find then SG/2010 stuff.

sweet glass but i say you can use less water in the top perc for sure.....you dont even need the water lvl to be over the outside grids ....the water inside the perc will displace enough as you pull it to easly cover all the slits try it out ....even if it looks like its water is under the perc as long as it lvls out after you pull it will work fine dry pull the pipe just untill you have the bubbles start ...it will show you how much water displacement/ less water = less diplacement = less drag
