@MrZeus169 This is what you call sarcasm. It is a joke, that laying in a bed, and eating cookies would be considered abuse. Maggie was 6 months old when I got her from the rescue, and she was with me in almost every state in The U.S., in my truck. She was with me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, till I got a different job, that does not allow dogs in the truck. Maggie has seen the whole country, and lived a life as my family member, not just my dog. Sorry if you didn't understand the joke.

The sad part was choosing only one dog out of all that were there. At a shelter in Philadelphia, I had an Akita grab me in a hug, and barked loudly. I swear it killed me not to be able to take him home, but we didn't have the room for him.
So many great dogs, some even purebreds, that nobody wants. I promise you if I ever hit the lottery for millions, you will see me on the news, donating most of it to shelters.
Adopting her was a very sad story, with a happy ending. When Maggie was at the shelter, where I found her, it was her second time there. She was at the shelter once before, but whoever took her brought her back. When I took her home, she did chew on one of the legs on the kitchen table. This problem was easily corrected, by getting her a chew toy. Besides that easy fix, Maggie walked absolutely perfectly on a leash. She is a great dog. Protective, but sweet to those she knows are OK to be there.
She's cute awwww!Thank God you was just being funny. She doesn't look at all abused,She's fat and looks healthy....Thumbs up.
