I was watching this awards show kinda by accident surfing channels and shit, wasn't anything better on. I was getting ready to change the channel again and all of a sudden Sonata Arctica was on and basically wiped the floor with every other artist that had performed that night! The whole band is on fire here, especially Tony. Probably the best ever performance of this song. Let's hope it's included as a bonus on the next DVD. ;)

Do you mean the 'dark voice' near the middle of the song or just (all) the backing vocals? The backing vocals could perfectly be 'live', that dark voice is just a record they play every time whilst playing this song.

However in 'the world of television' you never know if something is live or not. I think Tony sings live here, though.

Btw the video quality isn't bad at all, it's just the camera work that is really really awful! I keep seeing the same shots over and over again...
