Granted they all have a good technique - how could one tell if they are great violinists by playing this raucous overblown schlock- as long as you saw away for
all you are worth you will please the circus crowd .
vengerov was wonderful in his rendition here but nikita borisoglebsky was not bad at all. there was fire and agnst in his performance . . . not to mention a showcase of his technical mastery of this Brahms masterpiece.
the comments didnt say much abt music. They r all fantastic player. there is no perfect violin player, so dont be such a critical person who is far away behind these musicians!
I think all musicians are fantastic violinists! And it is not right to say that Vengerov is better or anybody else is better. And of course so short exerpts don't show everything about any of violinists.I prefer Dmitri Berlinsky style. He plays completely different than Vengerov but everything is in his sound. You can hear all emotions, thoughts, feelings from his playing. Now many artists just go with their showmanship but sound is nothing! And it is awful!
It is not fair to judge on short excerpts. You have to hear the entire three movements to get the artistic concept that each artist has for the work involved. One also has to consider the concert halls, the recording equipment, the orchestras involved. You can take 20 known artists on any small segment and find differences, as they have made individual decisions concerning interpretation. Listening to many artists helps one to understand that a piece can have many valid realizations.
Thanks for your opinion, but put same sections together would make it too long,so just compared focal points such as angle of bow、gesture or music texture...

Way to go Vengeroc, you have that hot chick checking you out from the back of the section when you come in, you never should have cut your hair.

Vengerov easily wins.. but, personally... my top picks for this are Heifetz and Perlman.. Vengerov ranks highly in my opinion, though.

@Mecinimi vengerov over perlman..lol not a chance. but then again all music is a matter of taste.

Nikita Borisoglebsky 's part: soloist appeared too young and inexperienced while the orchestra was old and heavy by comparison.

Vengerov plays less douchy here xD

Yes, he was competent and great in that age.
leona200102 2 years ago
on the slower bits the last guy is head and shoulders. the faster sections tend to less expression if competent.
wblakesx 2 years ago
Maybe it's his way to show passion in slow movement and period?
leona200102 2 years ago
that's vengerov...you have to look at he's head movements and you'll recognize him...

simply Vengerov. No more to say. He owns the two others.

The comparisons are a bit funky, but I think that vengerov takes this. It's not match. He is too great. :)
GO MAXIM!

錄音品質就差很多了 小提琴的音色未必是你聽到的 這種品質的聲音檔案 根本不適合拿來作因直上比較 不過其他方面倒是批評的沒錯
