I would love some more storys for hertgen for the film , we where looking at late 2012 to shoot some more stuff ,what they did in ww2 inspires me to make films whatever it takes , i've been an reenactor as "oddball" from kellys heros at war and peace over the last two years with hell and back group dan butler in shermans and replica tigers its been a wild adventure thanks everyone for all your support

yes it cost me only 200 pounds which went towards fuel costs for the vehicles if it wasnt for the hell and back re-enactment group and the German group turning up it would never of happend i didnt promise anything in advance just told them i had no budget only equipment and a location it payed off being honest from the start , the logistics where the hardest part of the shoot and the pyros

Normandy has taken up all our time this year but where link up at this years war and peace show and see what we have by then off to cannes film festival to raise some funds , thanks again for being part of the film your MG42 was amazing and all your group thanks

as one of the re-enactors on the trailer (pause it at 34 seconds I'm the middle German lol) I really enjoyed helping out would love to help out with the group in the film

yes they where all real re-enactors and real firearms from vickers no use using crap props and adding the sound effects the actors got really into it they where really up for firing real weapons and they did but only with blanks but still i did it and it was a nightmare as i missed loads of stuff due to time and lighting thanks for the comments johnnie

Thanks for the great feedback the bozuka was my fav bit it was a little rocket on a string which i speed up in the edit to look like a rocket but we did use real pyrotechnics and real front venting guns amazing exp
