No, I hate RACISTS. British culture is not intertwined with racism. There are many different types of immigrants, some are migratory workers, such as the Polish and Czech, others are here on a more permanent basis and they DO learn the language.

Mr. Selvarasa Pathmanathan has informed that due to the present situation in Sri Lanka they are shifting the call for Eelam to the United Kingdom.

Henceforth, LTTE has decided to call for the establishment of a separate Tamil homeland in the South London area in the UK.

It is to be named "the United Kingdom of Eelam". Rt.Hon.David Milliband has been nominated as the first Governor General of the state of Eelam and a bill is to be tabled in Parliament this week.

Put simply, the Britain is one of the worlds largest arms dealers. We sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Sri-Lanka(this is where the Tamils used to live by the way) to name a few.

The British government subsidizes the arms trade, this means that YOUR and MY tax money helps pay for the weaponry that has fuelled the conflict.

A lot of countries consider Britain to be backward, especially when it comes to environment, infrastructure and human rights(we don't have a constitution, ha!), but they still let us in the EU.....

Germany, France, Holland, most of scandinavia. In fact most of Europe to be honest, I've done a lot of travelling and have lived in Germany and Spain.

Take for example our quality standards, while speaking to a German mate of mine who used to work for a UK based company selling conservatories.

He told me that while working as a sales rep, that British conservatories can only be sold in Germany as "greenhouses" due to the fact that our standards are too low to pass for housing use over there.

I am afraid that's who normally suffers in any war- the innocent civilians whether they are tamil, singhala or muslim. We all know that over the last 30 years both sides have killed needless numbers of people. The only way forward is to move on and not dwell in the past as we can spend another 30 years killing more people.
