No, you can't use it while it's in it's stone. The stone has 2 purposes, one to charge it, and the other thing it is supposed to do is disconnect it from your phone. I have beening using this bluetooth for about 6 months now and it's a real love/hate relationship. I like how it looks and feels, and I hate the fact that the stone is really flaky in actually disconnecting the bluetooth from your phone. Sometimes it stays connected and I will be on a call and the thing dies.

Can you use the device while its in the stone? (e.g. you're on the phone with this device and suddenly you hear the buzz that your battery is low, can you pop it into the stone and hold that against your ear and continue the conversation?)
I have another Logitech and a Jabra wireless headset at this moment. And I usually forget to recharge them. With Logitech headset I'm able to connect it to the charger and continue speaking, with the Jabra device I can't. That's why I'm asking.
u know what the problem is when i come back around to my brother for help im just using him for insurance. u motherfuckers know i dont give a fuck about him. n what do u do u spit it back at my face
I ordered one of these on EBay for $49.99 shipped (OEM). My Nokia 6350 simply does not detect it at all, and I have no idea why. I've talked to others about it and the only thing they can say is "it should work". Well, it doesn't. Now I'm wondering if the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. Does AT&T do something so that only the ones you pay an exorbitant amount for through them work? The set seems to be fine, all the lights show up and it's identical to the one in this vid.
own one and all i can say is read the fine print, this thing sucks it only holds charge for 2 hours, you have to carry around the charger which is good for 3 charges at 2hours a charge. only then will it be a total of 8 hrs.
Cool design but not all that. If you like Jabra like I do and want one w/dual boom microphones get the BT 530 w/NOISE BLACKOUT.I have that one and the Plantronics(which I also like)Voyager PRO,which is badass!!! Both have the quality in which my friends and business associates said I sound like I'm on the phone.
i have a bt530 and it really is incredible. i have a jabra extreme on the way, i hope it's as loud as the bt530 is. i had an hx1 and it wasn't nearly loud enough for me. do you have one of these jabra stones? is it as loud as the 530?
Nice looking headset but due to the design of the mic (no mic boom) I would think the noise canceling feature would be of limited use. So I looked up some audio sample reviews(mp3's) for the Jabra Stone and yes the noise canceling doesn't do much if anything. One thing I have learnt about bluetooth headsets and that is "no mic boom equals poor audio outgoing" (look at the Plantronics Voyager Pro as a great example of doing it right).
Yes, I think that is true in general. There have been some examples that have broken that rule over the years, but basically if you want it to work well, the microphone needs to be close to the user's mouth.
@LinuxGalore Your right, the Plantronics Voyager Pro is totally awesome. I'm hard of hearing and it is loud and clear. I forget I'm wearing it it's so comfortable.
Yeah, I'm visiting my mother in FL right now and don't all of my normal equipment. Would have been too hard to shoot. But, for what it's worth, it looks really nice when worn on somebody it fits properly.
not working for me. i got mad and destroyed it with a hammer.... and then pissed on it...

In your ear it looks like a hearing aid rather than a Bluetooth earpiece
