We just bought our beardie from a family-owned pet store and he's about two years old (they weren't sure). But he's so tame and LOVES fleece blankets, too. I thought making him a fleece blanket was kinda silly, but now I see it's not a crazy idea at all. Thanks for sharing!

This video was so touching, it reminded me of my Leviathan and how big he's gotten. He's 10 months old now and growing like a weed...well a fat weed. @Zodo777 what you do is u watch him/her all the time to make sure it dosent jump to its death and so it dosent run away... Also put a used shirt in its cage and don't take him/her out go a week or clean it trust me I had to learn the hard way my old one I didn't do anything and he would hiss and bite and he bit me on my eye lash T.T
I want one... stupid green anoles are a pain in the ass. they are fun to look at and i like the lizard and all but i want something that is more loveable and actually likes being held and taken care of. Not a Green anole that runs at every chance it gets. I do everything to warm them both up to me...they are just a serious pain in the ass sometimes.

I let my Pogo out every day for at least a half hour. He loves it and his never done anything vicious. Only time he bit me-well more of a quick nip-was when he missed the cricket when I was hand feeding him. I think beardies are all around some of the best lizards to own as a pet but I do want to get a savannah monitor someday.

This video reminds me of the way I look after Ozzy who's also a beardie. I adopted him cause he was being neglected and I give him all the attention in the world. I take him everywhere with me, apart from work cause I work in a kitchen, but he usually goes with me to a friends house. He has the whole house to run about and he could rather give me cuddles than sleep in his viv!

Right on man, I am currently in love with all my pets, but more interested as to how my baby sav monitor will do. Same issue as you but not to sure, maybe cause it does not like it's habitat that I made, then I moved him three times, but after force feeding and successes with handling I believe he is going to be a great pet. My next pet will be a tengu, iguana, and/or breaded dragon.

The job I am trying to get allows me to work at home and email the work i've done, so when i get a beardy I will be with him/her pretty much all day :)
@HQMontageMaker To make a tame bearded dragon you need to take him or her out every day. Starting at a young age will ensure a tame dragon. When picking out your dragon do not pick the one that tries to get away or puffs up at you. Pick one that is alert, looking around but doesn't try and run. Most bearded dragons love being around people, so taming is not difficult at all. Good luck!
Soooo cute, i have two lil ladies who we love so very much, and they are super tame when we get home at a night we get them out and they run and then later snuggle up on us and go to sleep, i never thought in a million years that they would be this tame but i would not change them, i love them so much!!! Whilst they were brumating i stressed out soooo much as it was there first time. it is soo nice to see someone caring for their pet.

he reminds me of my beardie. Mines looks alot like yours, and always sleeps and cuddles with me. He licks my hands all my time. He lovrd hid treats Altho somthing with my little dork ive never seen in any other bearded dragon, is the fact that he gets very defensive and protective of me. My mom was messing with me and he charged her, trying to bite her as he puffed out. Same happened when my dog licked me, he charged my dog and latched onto her paw. He is so funny i just love him!
Thanks for saving the beardie X_X alot of people wouldnt go through that much for 'a dumb animal' i love my bearded (Mskippers1995 id u wana see their sexy selves >:3) and i would spend thousands to get them the care they would need. They really are great pets.

My bearded dragon named Bandit had an eating problem. I got him from a pet store and i had to force feed him for weeks. months after i got him he started eating right and he is almost 8 months just starting to grow big now :( His growth has probably been stunted like yours. Your not alone lol I hope steve is still doing good.

awww!, really touching story! my beardie is coming up for his birthday on November 13th, i was told when i got him that he was a dwarf beardie. i dont think so! he is quite big and everytime he sheds (3 times in the 4-5 months ive had him) he gets even more rering on him!, he is beautiful, luvs the outside, and loves sitting on my shoulder watching tv, and while i go on the computer.

He is so cute! I have a bearded dragon named Monty, I've had him for almost 3 months now. When I first got him, he seemed healthy, but I really don't think that he was. I have had him just shy of 3 months and he has at least tripled in size.
He loves to be out of the tank, but when he wants to be put back he will poop on my or my bf :( LOL. He is a very friendly guy, I hve a 5 year old son and he does well with him, except when my son gets rough then Monty tries to run. Check out my page/vids!

gorgeous baby pix and didnt he grow from hatchling into quite the young man!! Ive got three totally spunky big healthy fully grown beardies and they are such characters.

@HQMontageMaker To make a tame bearded dragon you need to take him or her out every day. Starting at a young age will ensure a tame dragon. When picking out your dragon do not pick the one that tries to get away or puffs up at you. Pick one that is alert, looking around but doesn't try and run. Most bearded dragons love being around people, so taming is not difficult at all. Good luck!

Soooo cute, i have two lil ladies who we love so very much, and they are super tame when we get home at a night we get them out and they run and then later snuggle up on us and go to sleep, i never thought in a million years that they would be this tame but i would not change them, i love them so much!!! Whilst they were brumating i stressed out soooo much as it was there first time. it is soo nice to see someone caring for their pet.

This video is very touching. I have an adult male and baby male of my own and this video brought a tear to my eyes. You are blessed to have something that you love so much and that loves you back. Unllike some others (YouHaveMetYourMaker) whom no one loves not even a beardie and will never get to eperience the joy of having the love of someone other than themself.

i had a bearded dragon who was also sik because of the pet store althoe i didnt realize it until after he past away becuz he was my first bearded dragon. i only had him for 3 months he died a lil before christmass he looked exactly like steve-o im just glad tht ur bearded dragon survived before mine died he bcame parylyzed and i tried saving him bye force feeding him but he died tht nite he used to be really tame an cuddled too i just wish i culd have saved him

he reminds me of my beardie. Mines looks alot like yours, and always sleeps and cuddles with me. He licks my hands all my time. He lovrd hid treats Altho somthing with my little dork ive never seen in any other bearded dragon, is the fact that he gets very defensive and protective of me. My mom was messing with me and he charged her, trying to bite her as he puffed out. Same happened when my dog licked me, he charged my dog and latched onto her paw. He is so funny i just love him!

My bearded dragon named Bandit had an eating problem. I got him from a pet store and i had to force feed him for weeks. months after i got him he started eating right and he is almost 8 months just starting to grow big now :( His growth has probably been stunted like yours. Your not alone lol I hope steve is still doing good.

awww!, really touching story! my beardie is coming up for his birthday on November 13th, i was told when i got him that he was a dwarf beardie. i dont think so! he is quite big and everytime he sheds (3 times in the 4-5 months ive had him) he gets even more rering on him!, he is beautiful, luvs the outside, and loves sitting on my shoulder watching tv, and while i go on the computer.

He is so cute! I have a bearded dragon named Monty, I've had him for almost 3 months now. When I first got him, he seemed healthy, but I really don't think that he was. I have had him just shy of 3 months and he has at least tripled in size.
He loves to be out of the tank, but when he wants to be put back he will poop on my or my bf :( LOL. He is a very friendly guy, I hve a 5 year old son and he does well with him, except when my son gets rough then Monty tries to run. Check out my page/vids!
