Barnett are ok but will not last like a Horton ,PSE. Tenpoint.

I had a Barnett it lasted 7 years bebore the parts wore out. I had the 400 and never shot as good as the Horton . The Quad 400 came apart and would never lock in place so your bolts would fly high and low.

Okay, sorry if this sounds extremely "nooby", but I was browsing around and i just was wondering if someone knew whether the Jackal or wildcat C5 is better? Where i've looked, the jackal has been priced lower than the wildcat C5, but yet on the internet ive read of the wildcat C5 as an introductory crossbow into Barnett's family of compound bows, (so wouldn't that make the Wildcat cheaper?).... If someone could reply with a good response, that will be really appreciated!

@13johm did you use rail lube? if you lube up the rail and string with candle wax or something to that effect it helps prolong the life of your crossbow strings
