  • That's what I say always, people just do learn music nowadays if they don't want to. Thanks for the backtracks, it has been so helpful !

  • @Carlosrzz Thanks!

  • why not just say you can improvise using amin/cmaj scale shapes or amin pentatonic?

  • Just found this channel - it's excellent! The jam tracks give a series of good challenges in easily digestible slices. I'm really enjoying the single/double bar chord changes and especially the modulations, rather than the more normal 8-16 bar single chord vamps. Highly recommended. G

  • @garybradleymusic thanks Gary!

  • the 7th dimished 5ths usually give it away to locrian mode

  • @SpeedPickers Also know as Altered. right.

So but if the one chord is am7, it would all in A-Aeolian-b5?

except it dont have an e. So to just solo randomly u would use f melodic minor, but that doesnt sound right?

Thanks for still posting the most interesting and best backing tracks on youtube

  • @sebm89 its in B Locrian, which is relative to A Aeolian.

  • @SpeedPickers this can also be a B locrian harmonic... basically you can fusion it up and change it around, doesnt have to be harmonic because you got the G plus the A# so you really dont have to be picky, you can be versatile and play on the fly.

  • @eddieisfiction personally becuase the A# in the chord is usually more dominant than the G I would outline playing it in a harmonic mode instead though... since the chord is major and then play outside with the other.

  • @dj0431 the software don't use internal sounds, but the built in Windows midi soundfonts,or in alternative you can use an external soundfonts device (hardware) or ,like me,and external program to convert midi to wav (freeware, there are some)
