To be critical, there's nothing wrong with the hammerhead, just the camera angle is not very flattering. The landing is ordinary, but he keeps a handle on it. Looks like it stepped a long way out for a Pitts. But once again camera angle makes it hard to judge. The landing conditions don't look too bad, but we can't see everything. The circle work at the end is just that circle work... Fun :)
the pits is known to be one of the hardest aircraft to land even in good conditions and the fact that he prevents the ground loop means he has some skills.
@nz3rdsqr Yes, the Pitts is a challenging airplane to handle on landing, and the ground, (and on approach, and in the pattern) but it handles crosswinds exceptionally well. I've landed the Pitts in stronger direct crosswinds than I'd be comfortable landing just about any other light aircraft. It has such authoritative controls, and does just what you tell it to, that as long as you know what to tell it, the landing in a crosswind isn't really any more difficult than any other Pitts Landing.
By looking at the hammerhead you can already tell that this pilot should not be performing demonstration on such aircraft. By looking at the landing, it shows that the first impression was correct.

That's not a ground loop...a ground loop is something else entirely, and it's not the sort of thing you'd do on purpose.

SerginhoD, by your comments you clearly have poor or non aerobatic Flight experience.
