  • next time film this with a camera not a potato FFS

  • Been using the prospector model for almost a year now, I've been amazed how well it retains even the super fine flour gold. If your having issues with slow water flow I found that if you can get just enough water under the sluice to make the trap work, then all you have to do is throw your material on top and use a pan or bucket to wash it down. Simple Easy and still saves time from having to classify.

  • Than can I let it running for a while with out feeding or turn of the water source (in high banker mode and not loosing gold?) Just because the carpet sluices suffers loosing gold in this case.

    I relly like the design.

  • What thick ABS plastic is it made from?

Is any way to add a nugget trap?

What are their advantages over the miner moss/carpetted drop riffle sluices? Ok, built in screen and lightweight. Is any other?

I read somewhere hydrauilic riffles are good for black sand reach areas? Is it true for the bazooka sluices too?

Is any experiment on their effectiveness?

Which may I to buy if I want go alone but for some money. The prospector or the miner?

How much shovel per minute can they handle?

  • i just got the super mini. the first clean-up had more color than any riffle sluice ive used. despite the negative comments, Todd will send you a gold catching box!

  • i seriously doubt he found that much gold in a single bucket. or even 5 or ten buckets. salting?????

  • @desertdreg theres a guy on here his video is "looking for gold- Episode 6- Bazooka gold trap. I think he runs a real fair test to show how this works. But i agree thats a hot claim or ya sprikle sprinkle

  • @brodylin88 jealous much ,fuck there are so many of you bagin this sluice, the past 5 months here in new zealand this is the only sluice we use and the amount of gold we are getting oh and also with the price it is at US$1800 an ounce makes for a stunning sluice .this now is my full time job ,sluiceing for gold.couldnt ask for a better life and thanks to todd @ bazooka sluice for this fine peice of equipment

  • @desertdreg lol, you make me laugh..... thats exactly what i thought but as the saying goes 'dont kick it until ya tryed it' and i bought on of these and tryed it and will never use any other sluice. put ya money where ya mouth is and buy one ,you'll be suprised.

  • sometimes when i cough really hard i see stars. is this normal?

  • Gee I wonder if he salted that gold in there. hahahaha anything to sell some overpriced shit boxes. lol

  • I used my Bazooka gold trap sluice last week to take some samples in Colorado . We found 5 colors of gold . Some smaller than 80 mesh without classifying . I have the Prospector model .

  • So, you just found $325.00 worth of gold in a few hours. Why would you waste your time selling sluices. The trap does not account for clayish material only loose material, as you know clumped material in clay needs to be broken down, the product does look good for loose gravel in a non-nugget area. I have a customer bringing one over on friday so I will let you know what I think, I teach gold mining and have been mining since 1989.

  • despite the negative comments i've seen on here,i'm def interested in getting one of these.i'm in ohio.when i come out there,i'll pick one of those up.how much do they cost ranging from small, medium and large? very good vid on giving out instructions for usage.i'm def in!

  • Total rip off. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Research Todd Osborn in El Dorado County, California and you will see quickly.

  • @bongcouver mmmmm nothing wrong with the company, im around the other side of the planet and received mine and yeah so much better than a rifle sluice box

oh i now no why you are given him shit, todd ran of with your mom.its okay

  • @pogobull Great, a fucking moron from new zealand that made it through the earthquake. Being from the Commonwealth I would think your spelling would be much better. Well, better than your sense of humour. Now, suck my Canadian balls and don't stop untill I tell you to stop.

  • @bongcouver lol.wow, you really have a sad life

  • @bongcouver okay peace bro, sorry i delt to you.just havin a bad week. wow you do keep up with the news over here got a bit of a sweet tooth for christchurch a. again my apoligys has been a bad couple of weeks due to the lose of my wife. peace.

  • haha can u say stacked dirt lol still looks cool and i bet it works great

  • he Bazooka Gold Co. doesn't reply to phone calls or emails and has received nonperformance complaints, as in, you send them money, and they send you nothing. Buyer beware.

  • @muconium you sure bout this mate. nothing wrong with the product SO much better than rifle system. have had no issues. and customer service was bang on.

  • Good video. Great idea, volume, volume, volume. My question deals with weight. Trying to lift your large unit, full of water & materials, out of it's location, and not dumping materials out of trap ('naturally' stratified/unit design) to lighten the added water weight? Possible design idea for you... Use clear acrylic window over "trap" portion, cut a window out & silicone "clear" in it's place, helps know when sluice is getting full. As always with me: Free advise, use it or lose it. Mn.Lar

  • lol fuck the sluice where's he working at lmao.with that much gold i'd be happy just to pan.....

  • I like. The vid quality needs work. Grainy.

  • yah right in short time of video hes quessing found / got 1/4 ounce of gold . BE FOR REAL

  • Tell that blonde to hit me up if she needs a prospecting partner

  • One of the major drawbacks for me purchasing one is price. I'd love to have the prospector, I'd pay $99 for the prospector, but not 2 bills,

  • u lose some 1/4oz and up out of sluice = too bad I like riffle in the sluice or dredge . I have 10 inch nuzzle 16 ft dredge in Alaska

  • ROFL at 8:20

    "OH BOY HAHHAHA"

  • it certainly worked for you. I would say LOCATION is everything

  • What about gemstones? Sapphires can be panned (or collected with some other sluice boxes). Does this sluicebox capture them?

  • I don't see why not, send us some, for R&D purposes of course!

  • @asnem1618

See videos by youtube user Flagold for information and videos of him panning and dredging for gemstones. He's found plenty of them, and even cuts and polishes them himself. Look for his video titled: "Finding Gold XIV: Sapphire Sluicing"

  • did you get that quarter ounce from a single 5 gallon bucket of material? If so, why are you selling your boxes?

  • We spent a day sampling, which identified four locations that we thought were worth working, that was one of them, and it took about a half day to recover it.

  • I like pooping in my sluice box. Filters out all the corn..Then I eat it again.

  • lmao what a stupid comment but still made me laugh really hard.

  • I really wish you talked about the theory of how it works more then just showing how to use it.

  • Rip-off

  • See also gold trap sluice 1 0002

  • What bull shit! He shows you what he pans from the large trap and he says he got 1/4 ounce of gold. I think he put his own flakes in the pan. Don't you?

  • i only had a problem looking at this video in that he really went over those grizly bars rather quickly not looking for any big nuggets that may have popped up on there, but i guess thats why a person classify s their material first?

  • You are correct, the only size nuggets that will enter the trap are limited by the spacing of the stainless grizzly wires. I heard a rumor that a Bazooka Nugget Trap is in the works for an attachment onto the Bazooka Gold Traps.

  • Large nuggets are very easy to spot, a quick glance is enough. Remember gold is extremely dense, nuggets will not want to ramp up and over the grizzly with out assistance.

  • thats cool can we hook it up to a dredge

  • You can use the prospector or miner model on a dredge. You need 2 sources of water. One to feed the scoop, so the internal jets can create eddy currents. Then the top water source is where your material will work it's way down the box and gold will enter the trap. Just use the Bazooka Gold Trap the same way the it sets up into the creek in this video.

  • I've bought one of the "miner" models, It works GREAT!

  • Wow, those sluices look amazing!!! Super tough and simple, and fast to setup, and cleaning is a breeze. We need them downunder in Australia!!! Fantastic I want one. Great informative video.

  • Interesting! Thanks! : )

  • I want one, they look fun and easy!

  • Nice job!!! Kinda weird ho theres gols in the river! So Why are there NOT hundreds of people there with you looking?!

  • the answer is simple... Not everyone can jump in a river and dig it takes a man to do that

  • ohhh I'm sorry I didn't realize you were so primitve in your thinking! Some nerve you have making such an ugly statement! Go on and keep tiny particles of "gold" LOL

    NO SALE

  • Well actually more people would be looking for Gold in rivers, but most of the public think that the gold has been mined out by the old timers. But after high water more gold gets moved around and gets deposited. So I say yes to the sluice its a sale for me A++, and it seems so easy to clean out.. I am a get it done quick kinda guy, the less work I have to do messing with cleaning out a sluice is a bonus for me. Great product mate, how much to ship downunder.

  • cool! well done video, im impressed with the product, it looks very good, it was cool how you got good results too! the gold looks nice...it makes me want to get some and go try it myself!

  • Amazing! Looks like a lot of fun!!!
