You can certainly tell who is playing through electric rigs and who is running through a PA or acoustic amp. It is certainly worth running an a/b switch to play acoustic.
The sounds are quite good through PA still quite artificial and basically mid rangy crappy through an amp.
Of course in my case I am playing direct through a HD500 so a different patch would work except that at the board the eq will be strange so maybe 2 different channels and back to an a/b swtich. :)
What effect are you using at 8:23 ? It sounds beautiful.... Darn,, just realized this video is a compilation. Anyone out there know what it is?

@switchfeetfakie That's a reverse delay set 100% wet with a fair bit of reverb.

I had to stop using line6 products when I went to Snow leopard on mac. the software didnt supprot that OS. I wonder if this does
