  • "waiting for music"

do us ALL a favor and SHUT UP!!

    fool

  • Fuck me. No dont! But the colour purple from 1983 (book) 1985 (film). Come better! Speilberg made Amistad and has adopted black children. But really, so what! This is the BBC! Your point is terrible! The days are long and are the same heruchuku! Your brain wont allow you to understand or overstand such fine and intricate details! THIS SHOW IS DEAD, BURIED AND WAS HURRIED OFF THE AIR! Brapppppppp!

  • shuut tha heck upp you prickkkkk

  • This show is an exact mirror of the stupid people who accept anything that is fed to them in a shiney but often dull wrapper labelled "urban" which is a white word used to describe the mass of black culture. Then, the unlearned, often black people in turn adopt the word into their low and squished vocabulary using it often to describe themseleves. Job done!

  • SHIT BBC! The show is a disgrace, firstly to the Queen and Royal families television viewing and secondly to the Prince's Trust, who move mountains to help the uneducated and impoverished black youth of the United Kingdom from further socially handicapping themselves. MAKE A SHOW ABOUT BLACK male/female BANK MANAGERS! Lets see how far you get BBC!!!

  • so this shit is finally over! Woop. Come on BBC you know that this show was really shit!?

  • Especially with all the violence which goes on within the city. Well done cast!!!! Well done Zreon Gibson for having an awesome idea!!!

  • What you need is someone who understands and appreciates the culture. Steven Spielberg isn't black and he created the colour purple. People expect too much nowadays, and black actor/actress should not have to carry the black flag! Long are those days! Move on! It's called progression. And as this show continues to grow so will more and more opportunities unfold. This sitcom is just what TV needs, something light hearted and fun.

  • "Oh they're selling out" "oh that's not how black people are." So I ask you...how are black people then. You don't need a black writer to be able to tell a black story all the time. (The creator and one of the writers are black) but who cares.

  • Honestly some people need to lighten up and embrace fresh ideas.

This is a fresh comedy which shows young and talented black people in a positive light. People with charisma, drive, passion and talent: so if this is how the BBC perceive young black people isn't that a good thing? And further more this show isn't trying to appeal to a small minded audience that always has an issue whenever a black person appears on telly.

  • I see they are dumping the final two episodes on us next week to get the show off BBC3 as quick as possible. They must be so ashamed of it.

  • i LUV this show!

  • it aint about stereotypes some black people like rap music others don't the simple meaning of the matter is that it's a funny programme and I enjoy watching it

and you don't see too many of those on bbc, it's such a shame that it will probably be gone soon

  • Saw this prog yesterday. Embarassing! Who green lit this show? This is how the BBC views black people. If its not the The Crouches (a black sitcom written by white writers) or Baby Father (a show based on Patrick Augustus's novel which even saw him retreat from the project because of the over baring reach of white influence) its a new 2008 show depicting a fat black guy and his wide eyed minstrel side kick. Look how far we have not come. Stick with Lenny Henry BBC. He will unite us all. THINK!
