No.Unless you unlock it on the bottom. If its locked,it never breaks unless you break your wrestler hard through it. Believe me. Ashlee my cousin did it before. If its unlocked,it breaks. I just got one on my 11th birthday.

theres no button, there are latches under the ring that if you unlock them the ring will break
