So Beleth'Rim's fears were true. Noktu was the man behind the LLN bootlegs. So far, Beleth' Rim and Meyhnach have come out against "Sir" Noktu. Vordb has hinted at Noktu being the one who sent it out, but refused to name names. Keetreh I heard burned all his demos. So the stuff from Keetreh that saw the light of day was one of the copies Noktu was given. Noktu was involved with the LLN members and was one of the "trusted" men in the circle. He was given copies as well.
Meyhnach used to deal with Noktu on Drakkar and realized that he's a fake and only cares about ripping people off. He said that he did the very same thing to Beleth'Rim . But Beleth'Rim made some work for his band Vermeth and used the same Drakkar studio to record the album and he saw some pictures and demos of the LLN that still hasn't even seen the light of day and some that were already bootlegged by Noktu.
It doesn't end there either. Beleth'Rim (from Torgeist, Amaka Hahina, Vermeth) was briefly a member of the LLN and when he left the scene in 1995 he stopped all contact with fellow LLN members Noktu thought it would be best to put all the blame on him since he was no longer part of the circle and was no longer communicating with them. He figured Beleth'Rim would never know about this. I have spoken to Meyhnach about this and he confirmed that Beleth'Rim was never responsible for the bootlegs.
Some demos after that and fade away. Noktu had copies of the LLN members pictures and demos in his Drakkar studio and made illegal copies of it to then release it on his other bootleg label Tragic Empire Records. None of the LLN members authorized their material to ever be released outside of Drakkar Productions and Embassy Records. Everything LLN related that is on Tragic Empire Records or demos you see on Ebay was started by Noktu being greedy and selling their stuff without their consent.

It's insane how the French language always seems to sound so amazingly majestic no matter how it's spoken. Not even the dark emotions that black metal evokes can mask its beauty. Or maybe the melancholy atmosphere of this song helps to bring it out?

Paysage d'Hiver comes from Bern in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Learn2BM, kid. Neige only really wrote 3 (great) Black metal songs if you think about it and ignited interest in the somehow generic Mortifera. He's a shoegazer, not a metalhead. Check Alcest & Amesoeurs if you seek Neige's brainchildren.

I dont know, im starting to grow sick of this DSBM thing. Theres alot of bands sounding like eachother, and alot of bands could be alot more inventive.
Mortifera is a good band indeed, but DSBM is beccoming what death metal was in the 80s, wich ironicly resultet in black metal. So i hope bands would start to make more elitist black metal and focus more on strengthening an individual instead of bringing them down to the corriodors of despair and anguish.
I see the Francophone scene is abundant with such (Depressive) Black Metal bands ... And this can do nothing but make me happy! Keep it up Frenchies! :D
I don't think so. The best songs on Mortifera's album (the intro, Ciel Brouille and Le Revenant) were written and sung by Neige. Celestia was better when they still had their former guitarist to write the songs. Gestapo 666 and Genocide Kommando with Noktu as main composer are total crap.
The high pitched screams are neige, neige wrote ciel brouille as well as la revenant entirely. As well, he does vocals on a few other songs (aux coffins..)
This great song, along with "Le revenant", was written, sung and played (drums, guitars) by Neige (Alcest) who left the band two years ago. Had Neige's songs not been on the MORTIFERA album it would be below average.
Truly great. One of the very few bands that claim to play 'melancholic' music and deliver what they promise. This song is the best example. Just perfect..
The musician called Neige(member of Alcest & Amesoeurs) wrote both Ciel Brouille & Le Revenant. It's also him singing. It's pretty sad he left the band MORTIFERA. Just wondering: why are all these ugly mongrels featured in this video ? How could they relate to the music ? Neige must've left MORTIFERA because of their presence in the band.

These bands are not "around Neige", idiot. Only Alcest and Amesoeurs are Neige's bands. Neige only wrote two songs for Mortifera, one song for Peste Noire where he was always used as a a session member and 0 for Paysage d'Hiver in which he NEVER played.

From someone who bought the cds maybe? Anyway, true info: Neige only wrote "Ciel Brouillé" and "Le Revenant" for Mortifera (he sings in these songs too) and "La Césarienne" for PN (Neige was always used a session member by Famine in PN apart from that). Neige doesn't play in the Swiss band Pd'H. Happy with that?

Mortifera is a good band indeed, but DSBM is beccoming what death metal was in the 80s, wich ironicly resultet in black metal. So i hope bands would start to make more elitist black metal and focus more on strengthening an individual instead of bringing them down to the corriodors of despair and anguish.

I don't think so. The best songs on Mortifera's album (the intro, Ciel Brouille and Le Revenant) were written and sung by Neige. Celestia was better when they still had their former guitarist to write the songs. Gestapo 666 and Genocide Kommando with Noktu as main composer are total crap.

The high pitched screams are neige, neige wrote ciel brouille as well as la revenant entirely. As well, he does vocals on a few other songs (aux coffins..)

This great song, along with "Le revenant", was written, sung and played (drums, guitars) by Neige (Alcest) who left the band two years ago. Had Neige's songs not been on the MORTIFERA album it would be below average.

The musician called Neige(member of Alcest & Amesoeurs) wrote both Ciel Brouille & Le Revenant. It's also him singing. It's pretty sad he left the band MORTIFERA. Just wondering: why are all these ugly mongrels featured in this video ? How could they relate to the music ? Neige must've left MORTIFERA because of their presence in the band.
