Agreed, a lot of the TTC's older stuff is better However, the older Orion V busses are being retired because they weren't built right, they're suffering from frame corossion and poor welds :(

Not anytime soon, since they were built in 1998, my gues would be year 2025

Let's see...if these buses can live up to 20 years, they will be gone at around 2018, if they can live for 30 years, they'll be gone at around 2028. However, I won't be surprised if they retire earlier, they're not the most reliable type of bus in the fleet.

You're about right. The battery packs on the Hybrids aren't as good as thought. However the older hybrids are doing better
