According to the Star Wars wiki, Revan used a Force ability known as Fold Space, which allows the user to, basically, teleport, so he is most likely alive
BioWare didn't let you kill Revan because they knew that 80%+ of the Players who actually care about the Star Wars lore and had KOTOR as an inspiration to play TOR would be majorly fucking pissed. I know I would have been.
Revan was originally going to be killed in the flashpoint, however the story was changed so that he survived, this was done because it was decided that they did not want to completely close off potential story arcs..otherwise if they wanted to bring him back they would have to make up some stupid story about how he didnt really died..kinda like wow and kaelthas..i mean how many times did we kill that guy...
This game is about you, not Revan, but...if BioWare REALLY wanted to make a HUGE comeback with Revan *which I think they are btw) They will make an entire expansion and Revan is the hardest boss in the game that has his own planet to make a truly epic ending!

@HellenicSacredKin Well, actually, that is the flashpoint Jedi Prisoner. And when you free him, he mentions going to the Foundry, which is where the Imperial players battle him, so, those events take place beforehand. So we don't know if he's alive or not.
Yeah, He'll surely be back. Getting forced into a new era that has nothing to do with him, Not letting these new 8 characters have their shining moments. He'll definatly be back, Even though he clearly became one with the force and died.. :)

@lilsparkyx14 Emperor didnt kill Revan because he wanted to have connection to Jedi Council so he could plan attacks , whole Maelstrom flashpoint is kinda a ruse since it is later revealed that Emperor set him loose so he could run to his little Star Forge(Empire kills him and gets access to mini Star Forge = 2 birds with 1 stone)
At the end before u kill Revan he says something "Even at the end darkness takes me , i know how u felt old friend" (hinting at Malak) before dying

Does anyone know where to find the full soundtrack? This channel is missing songs for things like Belsavis, etc. I know they included the soundtrack in the collector's edition but I didn't have the money at the time for it. I'd like to buy the soundtrack separately now :S
In KOTOR 1, I name my Revan Kobet Katarn, ancestor of Kyle Katarn. In the dark side ending to Jedi Knight--at least for me--Kyle takes up his ancestor's mantle and becomes the new Darth Revan!

And Male Revan's incidental sounds in KOTOR 1 were done by Rino Romano, who voiced Kyle in Mysteries of the Sith, where Kyle went to Dromund Kaas and nearly fell to the dark side in the Sith temple, which could have been the Emperor's palace, where the spirit of the Emperor recognized him to be the descendant of Revan and tried to corrupt him as he did the original Revan!

@MyGamer125 Though I haven't played the game myself, I saw videos of the fight with *SPOILERS* Revan, and although I hated the outcome, and hope it isn't canonical, I don't get how people saw Revan went down easily, it didn't look like an easy fight.

TOTALLY can see a BADASS SCENE right now popping in my head at the end of a SWTOR movie where you fight a REALLY HARD BOSS and the character is at a showdown...things are happening, climax points are happening....right into a good battle
Ever since this particular piece was played during the Deceived novel teaser, I have always considered it the "Imperial" main theme, whereas the choral piece from the Hope trailer I considered the "Republic" main theme. I absolutely love the choral part in this theme. It just fits the Sith Empire to have that all-male choral backing, together with the suite-like strings and horns (and even that harp at 1:10; which I think may be the manliest, most badass harp ever.lol).

And all the Soundtracks from the game, are on a CD, which you only can get in the CE Edition....or you buy it from Ebay two month after release, when some people sell their Ce`s.
I agree, mjcarney2. I'm not interested in the game... at all... but I will sure try to get the soundtrack! Griskey (one of the composers) did an outstanding job with both KOTOR2 and Force Unleashed - so this will also be great!
@tpiom Sorry to hear you won't be playing, but glad to hear that you see this music's worth to a collection. The collection of composers working on SWTOR - including the extremely talented Mark Griskey - have really put together a truly exceptional score for this game. I agree with mjcarney, as well - this is a score that could easily fit within an epic feature film. (In fact, I'm hoping BioWare & Blur might one day collaborate on a computer animated SWTOR film.)

In KOTOR 1, I name my Revan Kobet Katarn, ancestor of Kyle Katarn. In the dark side ending to Jedi Knight--at least for me--Kyle takes up his ancestor's mantle and becomes the new Darth Revan!

And Male Revan's incidental sounds in KOTOR 1 were done by Rino Romano, who voiced Kyle in Mysteries of the Sith, where Kyle went to Dromund Kaas and nearly fell to the dark side in the Sith temple, which could have been the Emperor's palace, where the spirit of the Emperor recognized him to be the descendant of Revan and tried to corrupt him as he did the original Revan!

@MyGamer125 Though I haven't played the game myself, I saw videos of the fight with *SPOILERS* Revan, and although I hated the outcome, and hope it isn't canonical, I don't get how people saw Revan went down easily, it didn't look like an easy fight.

I really hate what they done to him , even in the book he seems weak and doesn't have the same charisma .
And lol , in total we see him 10min in game and yet we never hear of him again .
LOL , he's one of the most fav character in SW but they treated him like an easter egg nothing more ...

TOTALLY can see a BADASS SCENE right now popping in my head at the end of a SWTOR movie where you fight a REALLY HARD BOSS and the character is at a showdown...things are happening, climax points are happening....right into a good battle

Ever since this particular piece was played during the Deceived novel teaser, I have always considered it the "Imperial" main theme, whereas the choral piece from the Hope trailer I considered the "Republic" main theme. I absolutely love the choral part in this theme. It just fits the Sith Empire to have that all-male choral backing, together with the suite-like strings and horns (and even that harp at 1:10; which I think may be the manliest, most badass harp ever.lol).

@DigitalOberon Easy rule of thumb: if it's dark, gothic, and sounds epic then the chances are it's an imperial theme.

And all the Soundtracks from the game, are on a CD, which you only can get in the CE Edition....or you buy it from Ebay two month after release, when some people sell their Ce`s.

I agree, mjcarney2. I'm not interested in the game... at all... but I will sure try to get the soundtrack! Griskey (one of the composers) did an outstanding job with both KOTOR2 and Force Unleashed - so this will also be great!

@tpiom Sorry to hear you won't be playing, but glad to hear that you see this music's worth to a collection. The collection of composers working on SWTOR - including the extremely talented Mark Griskey - have really put together a truly exceptional score for this game. I agree with mjcarney, as well - this is a score that could easily fit within an epic feature film. (In fact, I'm hoping BioWare & Blur might one day collaborate on a computer animated SWTOR film.)
