And having seen Kode9 play out since then, I can safely say he's one of the best DJs I've ever seen.

yeah, spaceape works as producer from time to time, but always with kode 9, so that's why he's never mentioned as producer

he's saying, he doesnt have the patience or the mastery to fiddle abot with making music.
with a sample he can get what he wants, when he wants, in its original, beautiful sound.
where as with a live instrument, you get really crisp, dull music.
its like a compression envelope on bass..
