Dude, I totally have the same problem. I'm mainly a bass player too (I'm waaaaay better at bass than guitar, I'm not a good guitarist), and I can hardly sing and play simultaneously at all. I'm getting better at it though as I practice more though, so just keep practicing. How long have you been bassing?

Yeah, I had the guitar plugged into an amp, which made it scratchy and loud, and the camera's not so great. I'll be makign a new one sometime soon.

You know, there's no law that says you have to sing songs in the original key. You should lower it to where it's comfortable for you to sing. I like the guitar part you came up with. It's a lot different from my interpretation.
